The towel bars are pretty, but not practical. As a previous reviewer noted, the distance from the wall and the bar is very narrow. It takes a great deal of effort to hang average thickness towels over these bars. Also, the towels hang directly against the wall, preventing them from air drying properly. We will be exchanging these because they are just not practical for daily use.

While Hansgrohe makes great products...this one only gets three stars. The quality is lovely but the overall design is lacking. The space between the rod and the wall mount is barely large enough for a regular hand towel, much less a bath sheet. Now that it's mounted to the wall we are using it but only for smaller hand towels. Removing it would require dry wall repair which we aren't about to do at this point and time after a lengthy remodel/addition project. So for now it stays. But definitely think twice before adding this to your bathroom's hardware...unless you use really thin towels.

No space for towels

I'm very confused by this product. We bought all of the C line of Hansgrohe products in polished nickel and this was the towel rack that made sense. I've got it installed now and I agree with the other reviewer. It only has about about a 1-1/2" of space for towels so it's a struggle to get a normal sized bath towel over it. I can't imagine using this everyday so I'm going to remove it or maybe put a block of wood behind the posts. It's as if they forgot to give me a piece to lengthen the posts. It makes no sense.

I bought this towel bar and not happy with the amount of space between the wall and bar. This is good to hang a hand towel but not a bath towel. Very disappointed and will be returning this item.

Towel bar

Love the faucets...but this towel bar is useless! You can barely fit a dish towel through it yet alone bath towels. It needs a spacer or redesign...

not for thick towels

I was expecting about 2 inches of space between the bar and the wall. Its only about an inch, not nearly enough room for our bath sheets
