This is an excellent replacement towel bar! This particular size was perfect to be able to drill the towel bar holders that I have into the studs. Plus two full-sized towels fit better on this longer towel bar versus the 24 inch bar that you normally get when you buy a towel bar at the store.
Plan B for longer towel rails
I bought these “replacement” towel rails because Moen no longer offers towel rails longer than 24”. However, these longer “replacement “ bars are 5/16” in diameter while the bar holders I have from buying the 24” bars are 3/4” in diameter. The solution is rubber rings from the plumbing department so the bars won’t rattle around. Anyway, problem solved but shame on you Moen for not offering 3/4” replacement towel rails as well as for not offering longer towel rails, even on-line. Moen apparently hasn’t heard that most bathroom doors are 32” wide so that, with decorative panels of different depths (I.e., the doors are not flat) it’s impossible to mount 24” towel rails. So, Moen, wake up.
While the 30" towel bar finally met my needs, I don't understand why it does not come packaged with the wall posts? I understand why you might want an 18" bar (1 towel) but not so much a 24" bar? 2 towels won't fit on a 24". So the choices should be 18 or 30! If 30" is too long, just cut it down to what you want...
I bought two sets of bathroom hardware. I didn't need two toilet paper holders. So O used this bar with the toilet paper holder's brackets. Voila! Another towel bar!

I am not sure who came up with the idea that 24 inches was the largest towel rack anyone would need, but they are wrong. We had a 30 inch towel rack and when we remodeled our bathroom, we could not find one anywhere. We were able to use this replacement towel bar with the new matching towel bar ends to accommodate 2 full sized towels. It looks great! Thanks for providing a solution to a problem!
Fit's Moen's Align Towel Bars
After checking with Moen customer support, they were able to let me know that the 5/8" diameter rod fits the Align series towel bars. Great support from Moen and nice to know that one can order a replacement. In my case, the Align series did not have a 30" version, so I purchased this one and did a swap out. No issues with fit. Did have to do some calculation to locate the mounting holes.
Oil rubbed bronze 30” towel bar
I had 18” Moen (Bradshaw collection) towel bars but wanted to change it to 24”. That series (Bradshaw) is no longer available so I was thinking I should just get similar tubing as I have the ends. Miraculously, I came across just the tubing / bar on HomeDepot website, they had just that. It comes in 30” length, I got two, cut them to need size and have an upgrade for a very reasonable price. It fits perfectly into my existing end pieces and colour (oil rubbed bronze) matches as well !

This size towel bar is hard to find and the prices are outrageous. I bought this and used the brackets that I already had. Pros: 1.Price 2. Size- big enough to hold 2 towels Cons: 1. Only available online- if you are already placing an order then add this in 2.Thin metal- I inserted a 1/2" dowel inside before mounting to keep it from getting bent.

Purchased the 30 inch replacement towel bar and an 18 inch Banbury towel bar set. The 30 inch bar plus the two end posts lengthens the overall unit to 32 1/2 inches. I cut 1/2 inch off the bar and now had a fixture with the posts at 32 inches on center. I was able to screw the mounting plates directly to the studs. I now have a beautiful looking towel bar attached securely to the wall studs.

I purchased a Moen 18" inch towel bar with the intention of utilizing this 30" bar, so as to accommodate two full sized bath towels side by side; however, this replacement bar finish does not at all match the finish on the hardware. Despite both products being from Moen and in a brushed nickel finish, the bar finish is much more like a brushed stainless steel, there is no nickel warmth whatsoever. The difference is glaringly obvious and unuseable. To a lesser extent, the fitting on the ends is also inconsistent and require some force to attach. I would have been fine if that was the only issue, but the finish mismatch between products from the same brand is ridiculous.
This bar is not well made
We ordered this bar when we changed the hardware in our remodeled bathroom. I wanted a longer towel bar to accomodate towels for guests in their bathroom. The bar was 30 inches but the metal was so thin that I doubt it will support the weight of two wet towels without bending. The color also does not match the other hardware even though the description said it would.

This has been one my best purchases. I had a very short towel rod in our bathroom with brackets no longer being manufactured. We really wanted to reuse the brackets since we wanted everything in the room to match. So I spotted this long rod on Home Essentials Direct and thought I would get it to see if it would fit. And it did! I noticed I needed to snip out a small area on each side of the new rod to accommodate small indentations within the brackets. A basic snipping device I had on hand worked fine. It's such a inexpensive, wonderful fix. For less than $5, I now have a towel rod that can accommodate two towels instead of one. That's a huge savings! And everything continues to be coordinated. Thanks!

This is an inexpensive way to get a 30" towel bar. It is very nice to be able to leave towels full width on it. I did end up cutting it down a little. Its easily cut with a plumbing tubing cutter. I wrapped tape around where I cut to keep it from getting scratched. I also had to shove needle nose pliers in the end to expand it a little to fit my moen rack.

This part is fantastic because it was the only way I could get 30" double towel bars. I would have liked to give it 5 stars just to encourage Moen to offer more 30" products, but it is actually pretty light weight. It is probably fine in a single towel bar because Moen makes good mounts that can be adjusted to clamp the bar. However with a double towel bar one bar gets tight while the other is loose (at least when using Moen Lounge bar ends). Therefore, I had to put a dollop of clear silicone caulk in the end pieces to prevent the bars from spinning and from making a rather lightweight, hollow ping sound when towels are pulled off the bar. WIth the caulk in the ends, the bars feel solid and higher quality. One good thing about these lightweight bars is they are easy to cut; you can cut it to the perfect length to maximize the bar space in a small bathroom!

We like towel bars that can allow a big bath towel not to be crunched up when drying. Hard to find in any brand! Used these with Delta and Moen bars. Bought 18 inch towel bars and replaced the tubes with these. The satin nickel matched the Delta also. Just make sure the diameter is the same. These are 5/8 inch and Moen DN9430BN is 3/4 inch.
Just a bar
Had to buy a smaller set and add those brackets. I really like the look of the bar. I bought 2 other sets as well. Just make sure that you measure the diameter of the bar and the brackets as there are several different diameters available. It would be easier if the company sold the brackets and the bars separately, so you can customize the width you want.

I bought this 30" replacement towel bar because I wanted a longer towel bar and couldn't find one that was more than 24". When you look at this bar on Home Essentials Direct, Home Essentials Direct tells you that it is frequently purchased with the Moen Preston towel bar. So that is what I bought, the Preston 24" towel bar, intending to use the replacement bar. But this 30" bar DOES NOT fit the Preston towel bar. It is much narrower in diameter. HOWEVER, it DOES fit the Moen Wembly towel bar perfectly. So that's what we did.

This is a standard size replacement chrome towel bar for Moen (same diameter for their standard paper towel holders); my old towel bar is a Delta brass fixture, but the bar fits that as well.... I cut the bar to the proper size with a basic Ridgid pipe cutter, and it looks great!! Very happy that I found this item sold separately, so I didn't have to buy an entire new towel bar (I've been updating my old brass bathroom fixtures with chrome or part chrome fixtures).....

There are not many replacement towel bars that I could find. The wall thickness of the aluminum is about the same as the steel bar I replaced. I didn't think it would survive the grandsons so I gorilla glued a 1/2 dowel inside the tubing. The gorilla glue expands and fills gap. It essentially doubles the cost of the towel bar but as I said there aren't many options for inexpensive towel bars.

Bought this bar to make a 30" wide towel bar from a Moen Align 24" set. Worked perfectly. Appears to be the same diameter, material, and gauge as the Moen-supplied 24" bar, and fit inside the bar ends perfectly. Bar did not rotate when bar ends were screwed onto wall properly. Unfolded bath towel hangs great without any wrinkles on this 30" bar.
