Stiff handle

We seem to be having the same issue as the other reviewers. Only had 2 years and handle is already getting too stiff to turn.

Plumber had difficulty installing

Nice faucets. Plumber had a difficult time installing drain assembly. Hansgrohe ent replacement parts quickly.With all Hansgrohe products in my house, there were small issues regarding parts and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get parts locally even at Build/Ferguson

The faucet handles broke the same way

3 out 4 faucets have already been broken, the 4th one is on the way (very sticky). Good luck if you have Hansgrohe faucet installed.

Faucet handle issues

Handles become really hard and tight to turn. Swapping out entire faucet for new widespread brand. Seems to be a reoccurring issue with Hansgrohe.

Awful

Like others, our faucets broke after only a few years. Two different sets! These weren’t even the only Hansgrohe finishes that failed. This company is the worst.

Beautiful but defective

Same as the other reviewer, the hot water cartridge broke after five years. Cold water was breaking as well so replacing the whole set (getting a different brand this time).

Very Beautiful Faucet not so Good Cartridge Life

We have had this faucet for around 8 years it still looks brand new. Unfortunately we have to have the hot water cartridge replace again, second time, because it’s nearly impossible to turn. We had a new kitchen faucet installed 13 years ago, not Hansgrophe, and it’s has its original cartridge. Not happy having to have a plumber replace a hot water cartridge every 3 years.

This is a beautiful faucet set.

functionality problem

Called and spoke with Joseph A. What a gentleman. While difficult for me to articulate the problem Joseph took the time to understand and resolve the issue.

Under renovation

Not installed as yet as a renovation is being done in most of interior. Will wollow up in June 2022

Didn't last 2 years

Within a year had problems with one of the two sinks' pop-up drains. Then the handles started going (not just one, but four mind you). On two of the sinks both hot handles were stripped and would no longer turn. Now both cold handles are doing it too. We are replacing them with a different brand. Was a brand-new bathroom just two years ago. Very expensive too. Flawed design.

Modern and classic at the same time. This looks great on our prewar bathroom. The weight is substantial and it feels solid in use. Handgrohe is always great and this doesn't disappoint

Beautiful in all ways

These faucets (I bought 2) were the cornerstone of all my purchases for the remodel of my primary bathroom. They are beautiful and, to my delight, they are as functional as they are beautiful. It is hard to beat the quality of Hansgrohe products.

Reliable and Beautiful Faucet System

This is the 2nd one of these faucet systems I have purchased. The quality is excellent and the appearance very appealing. Craftmanship is top notch.

Glad I am not the only one who can't turn these!

Iv'e had these faucets for about 9 years now & they've had to be replaced because they wouldn't turn without force. Here we go again! I had to do a song & dance with Hansgrohe the last time to try to make them understand the problem, and now I see it's a common issue. It's a shame as they have a great look, but I assume the design is flawed as the handles make a path for water to run down the handles into the cartridge. I really don't want to have to keep taking this sink apart to replace the handle every few years. I wish Hansgrohe would step up & respond to customers the way other manufacturers do here...

Great looking, but doesn’t last

I’ll second the previous reviews that mention the handles getting hard to turn over time. I’ve had to take mine apart several times and clean the valve stem thoroughly to get it to turn again. Finally, after 3 years of this nonsense, the valve stem finish started flaking off, causing the stem to swell and jam in the plastic bushing. I have one that got so tight it broke when I tried to get it apart. Poor design has an O-ring at the bottom of the bushing so water gets trapped in the bushing. O-ring should prevent water getting to bushing, not hold it in.
