I love my vintage light Pfister Portland faucet!

I am remodeling a house built in the 1940's. I wanted a kitchen faucet that had a somewhat vintage look without going in too deeply. I call it vintage light. For example, I didn't want the typical white porcelain handle(s). I think those are more suited for bathrooms instead of kitchens. I also wanted a single handle faucet, so that eliminated wall mount or dual cross faucets which are accurate 1940's vintage choices. Again, I'm not going for strict accuracy. To be honest, I think the Portland faucet can work with just about any decorating style.

Wasting water on sprayer

Works. The sprayer rubber cord is too stiff we have to waste water to get the water hot enough to soften the tube. Stupid.

Disappointed

We purchased the Pfister Portland 4 years ago and had it installed by a professional plumber. We had a leak in the cabinet that is under the faucet. It took a while to find the source. The faucet leaked from the bottom where the hot and cold water originate, when the faucet was turned on. I called Pfister and a diverter and cartridge were sent to us. The diverter is impossible to remove without removing the whole faucet. I called 2 more times to explain that the water was not leaking from the spout and the side sprayer worked just fine. The leak was coming from the base of the faucet body, into the cabinet below. I was told I had the correct replacement parts. We hired a plumber to try to replace the diverter. He said that was not the problem and we actually needed the gaskets (part 950-165). He did not have those parts with him. I've contacted Pfister but I have not had a response. I'm not happy with the customer service, and I'm not happy that this faucet lasted less than 4 years.

Great Product For The Price!

I bought this recently from Home Depot and had it installed a couple of days ago. Very happy with the product! Nice and lightweight. The plumbers installed both the faucet and the sprayer. The product is finished in polished chrome and is aesthetically pleasing. I would strongly recommend this faucet which might be tight on a budget.

Manufacturing defect suspected

Received product sooner than expected. Once we deciphered the instructions we hooked it up without problem. It worked well for less than 30 days-developed a decreasing of pressure type of issue and found what appeared to be rubber like fragments when faucet outlet filter was removed.

Another great Pfister product

My Portland stainless steel model kitchen faucet fixture was installed two days ago by a professional plumber. I am very happy with this product that replaced my 13-year-old Marielle model, which I loved also. Comparing the two: the Portland lever handle is a bit lighter weight, thinner, and slightly shorter than the Marielle lever handle. A hole needed to be drilled into the stainless steel sink to accommodate the sprayer assembly, but that task was a far more simple and considerably cheaper solution than replacing the sink, installing new plumbing and a disposer install. Consider that solution if you have an existing 3-hole sink needing a 4-hole faucet installation (5-hole including the disposer overflow regulator. Good Luck!

This faucet looks and works great. Our experience with Price Pfister has been that they have very good customer service and will replace parts as long as you need, for free. But it does seem that things start needing parts in just a few years. Maybe this one will be different? Service and price from Wayfair was excellent.

This faucet is easy to install and I like the high arc spout. I prefer Pfister brand products because of their quality and excellent warranty. I needed to replace one of their kitchen faucets that had developed leaks on the top side of the spout and the swivel area and was hard to move from side to side. I requested and replacement for it, it was bought in 2010, all I had to do was sent proof of purchase and a picture of the faucet and this was on March 11, 2020, since it was no longer made they sent me this faucet as a replacement and it arrived on March 16, 2020. They honor their warranty and provide fast and efficient service. When I need faucets in the future I am picking Pfister brand products.

I purchased this faucet because of it's style, height, brand and price. It installed easily and looks good. Very nice sprayer. The downside is the low water flow. The factory installed supply tubes, yes I'd call them tubes, are smaller than straws! I have great pressure throughout the house and had, previously in the kitchen. I checked the aerator but to no avail. The other problem is the constant spitting as though there is air in the line. No air would be trapped in the line for more than a few minutes, not after weeks! It functions well enough, but not as well as it should. I'm just glad I didn't install this for a customer.
