I don't know how they work due to the fact that I NEVER received the lock nuts that were supposed to come with them...but they look nice!!

These casters were advertised with the jet planer/jointer, and they were bought together as a set costing close to $1000, it took a week longer to get the casters, and the bolt connecting them to the jointer is too large, and will not fit in the legs of the jointer, and so I’m gonna have to Build a platform to connect it to, just so the casters will work

The caster itself is pretty good. However, the threads on the stem or inside the supplied nuts are not right. You can not tighten the nuts on the stem. Once you get approx. 50% down, they become so tights that the stem spins in the caster and you can't tighten the nut any more.

The casters were heavy and seemed substantial, really more than my application required. However, the nuts supplied did not have matching threads to the shafts on the casters. The customer service rep at Home Depot agreed, so the casters had to be returned. Replaced with a lighter-duty in-store item.

Casters seem to be of acceptable quality, but I have to question a manufacturer who doesn't know their own products specifications. The included nuts have the wrong thread pitch and this seems to be a common issue.
