Bought the flour and brown

Bought the flour and brown sugar container. Flour seems good. Love the brown sugar keeper. Have had it for about a month and brown sugar is still soft.

Great storage

Love this. It works perfectly for my flour and food great in my cabinet. Having the little shel for leveling is very handy and the closure and seal are perfect.

Best style ever

I love the fact this has a way to level you measuring cup on the inside of this. Less work and tools needed for the job. I love it!

Flour storage container

this is so awesome it fits in the cabinet perfectly, I just bought one to make sure I liked it and I plan on getting one for cornmeal, sugar and another one for self rising flour

I might need a couple more of these

So far so good with these containers. My old flour containers were an oval shape and took up a lot more room than they needed to, so I got these to try out. They do fit a 5lb of flour, but not much more, but that works for me just fine. They created so much more room in my cabinet than my old containers. So far they seem to be air tight. I'd but them again.

I would definitely buy this container again.

I love Progressive Storage Containers. The flour container holds a 5 pound bag of flour perfectly and is airtight. I like that it holds the entire bag so that you don't have to empty it into the container. This is useful for those who buy several types of flour and don't want to write on the container to label the type flour that is inside. It comes with a leveling tool to level off your flour which is terrific.

Nice for storing flour and sugar but I don't use the leveler

I purchased two of these: one for flour and one for sugar. The only thing I don't like about these is the red piece inside that is intended for leveling off a measuring cup. It isn't deep enough for most of my measuring cups so I end up using a knife. And then the leveler is merely in the way. I'm thinking of just taking it off of both containers. I do wish the containers were larger as I am a baker and buy larger bags of flour and sugar ... but the size is exactly as advertised so I can't complain about that.

Must have for flour

The red lip on the inside of the container is genius for leveling out your measuring cup. The opening is nice and wide and material seems pretty sturdy. I will likely get a 1/2 cup measuring cup to keep in it to make baking that much easier.

The Best I've Ever Owned

I purchased my first one about 5 years ago and liked it so much that I have a total of 8 large and 1 small for the brown sugar. We follow the keto plan and use a few different flours and sweeteners. Almond flour is made with nuts, which can go rancid if not kept sealed properly. These canisters are perfect for the seal that they have on the lid. We live in a very humid climate and my canisters were kept on the bottom shelf of a closed kitchen cabinet. The end of August, we had a very bad hurricane. 3 foot title surge inside my house (water %26 mud). When we were able to return to the house, my cupboard doors were open, my canisters had been scattered from my kitchen to my livingroom. I'm here to tell you, Not one canister had been cracked, broken or compromised in any way. The seal on these canisters is amazing and they did more than their job in protecting my flours and sugars. I hosed them off, with the contents inside and away to baking again.

Nice size and exactly like pictured. Just does not fit a bag of flour like said. Very flimsy leveler and keeps coming off. Both are the reasons I bought these

Excellent container

Like the storage capacity and the shelf inside to level flour. The hard plastic is preferable to soft plastic. Also there is a tight seal.

The flour keeper works great! This is my second one, the first one keeping my bread flour fresh, and the second one is for the all purpose flour. They keep the flour fresh and in the container, no more messes in the cabinet! They are also easy to clean. I highly recommend this product!

So far so good. Does just what it says it should. Don't use scratchy scouring pad to clean the clear plastic. I will probably buy more.

Great product, fits in my pantry nicely

Love these. Good quality, love the hinged tops and the fact you can remove the measuring levels out of them. My older ones you couldn't do that and I never used them.

Perfect title

At first I didn't think container was big enough to hold 5 pounds of flour. But 5 pounds fits perfectly. I'm happy with my purchase.

Flour or sugar keeper.. I guess!

I didn’t receive the item that is pictured, it’s what I was hoping to receive. The item I received I’m not thrilled about. The item that you level out your flour or sugar with in what I received comes off too easily while you’re trying to level your measuring cup. I wished I had received what was actually advertised in the catalog and this “product to review” picture. Thank you

the flour keeper has so many great features at a really good price. i bought 2 as a gift for a baker and they are now his favorite flour keepers. he wants more. each of the breads takes a different flour.
