A unique shape of light for a more modern look. It is small but very bright. The two overlapping rectangles are a focal point in the room if there is minimalistic decorating style. The matte black finish is clean and doesn't create unnecessary glare or reflection. Compatible dimmers make it easy to set the perfect lighting level. The 3000k color temperature makes it similar to incandescent and easy to match with other LED lights. While the spec states 2660 lumens it doesn't seem that bright at all. Maybe because the LEDs are facing inward instead of down.

The light is a nice accent piece for any modern or retro room décor. The light states it's 2660 lumens but as you can see in the attached photos its way below that. I tested it and found that its more in the 100 to 200 lumen range and pulls only 200 mAh or 2 tenths of an amp. Its hard to test the lumen output because it made for indirect lighting (see photos). I did try this light on a LED rated dimmer and it dimmed smoothly from off to full brightness.

This is a very simple but elegant design that produces a bright, interesting light pattern. The LED light is rated at 20.5 watts which is equivalent to a 75-watt incandescent bulb output. The LED light output is approximately 2660 lumens, which is over twice the output of a 75-watt incandescent. Of course, there is no incandescent light fixture that looks anything like this one. The specs say that it produces 3000 Kelvin of warm white color and is dimmable. The instructions say that it is compatible with most dimmers and provides a web-link for a list. The link resulted in an error message from their server: "500 Internal Server Error". So I went to the Eglo website and submitted an inquiry on 2.11.21. I did not get a response after four business days, so I called. After getting my call dropped the first time, the Customer Service agent said that they have a list of dimmers and she offered to email it to me. It never arrived. So I called back and learned that there was a typo in the address. Ebony resent the info to the correct address. Recommended Lutron electronic dimmers are: DVCL-153PR, CTCL-153PDH, TGCL-153PH and MACL-153MH.

For a unique wall or accent light, consider this LED flush mount in flat black. This is truly one of its kind, from its thinness of only about 2 inches off its mounting surface to its dual rectangular light output. To me, this is destined to be placed on a wall. The light emanates from the inside of the dual rectangles, the center black box (which covers the transformer and all the wiring) adds a center base to the overall look. There are no bulbs to purchase as the LEDs are integrated into the frame. As to its light output, its 2000 lumens output is equivalent to about 125 watt incandescent light bulb. It is enough to provide basic lighting to a small to mid-size room, but it will not give extensive brightness (as neither will a dual 60-watt ceiling fixture). One idea I am pursuing is making an open frame (no glass) of a shag rug with this light in the center. You can see my preliminary look in the pictures. The light is well-made with an abundance of sturdiness to the rectangles. Connections are standard. Overall, this is a very interesting light that will start a conversation.
