Reviews

Unit was packed very well, parts nicely label, pieces orientation labels in place. No shower kit install is easy, it takes time and patience, no exception for this unit. Take the time, read the instructions, and all while go well. Very pleased with this DreamLine, would purchase again. For those considering the 32" model, re-consider. 36" provides just enough room, comfortable. Minus the 4" will present a tight fit. Glad I had the space for it.

Q walls pattern is off center.

The q walls pattern looks really cheap and off center. Once you cut to size it looks awkward since the pattern isn't center to the area of the shower enclosure. Now my valve and shower head looks off since it's centered to the area but the pattern of the wall is not. They should have designed it so you cut equal parts off on both sides of each panel... I would not recommend this shower kit. I've installed many other brands and this one just looks and feels cheap and was difficult to make it look at least decent...

Will do the job

Granted a contractor can’t tile a shower or build a working enclosure for less than the price of the unit, but be aware this thing is as minimal in structure and design as they can make it. The wall panels are 1/16” thick, floppy vinyl material. That was the biggest surprise, and issue to deal with. Yes I should have done more research, but would have never expected that for the price. So now doing my best to assemble in a fashion that does not ultimately feel like a shower less structurally sound than one found in a travel trailer.

Nice Design

The completed kit looks just like the photos. I bought three of them, and they were relatively easy to assemble. I added a safety bar and more corner shelves (from a different company since I could not find additional shelves that matched). Two things I think are important. I wouldn't get any smaller unit than 36 inches, and if money is not a big issue, I would consider getting higher-quality walls. Overall, I am very pleased.

Beautiful but water droplets under door concerning

This shower looks nice but I was concerned after installing it that water droplets might splash up in the gap at the bottom of the doors. It may be that the angle of my shower hits it just right but my concerns were realized when I tested it out and I could feel little droplets of water splashing out of the gap onto the floor. Not a lot, and if you have a bath mat against the shower base on the outside it might catch all of these droplets, but enough to definitely say that this shower enclosure does not prevent all water from escaping. It feels like there could be some sort of plastic piece installed on the bottom of the door that would prevent this splash up

Kit has NO WALLS!

Like the stability and look of the shower. The doors slide very easily, & we are happy with the purchase. Beware that the “kit” has no walls! We watched the video, & thought the walls were included, after checking the description, we most likely overlooked the fact the walls are not included. On top of that, When we called the store, we were told there were no walls to go with that “kit”...we found walls elsewhere, which set our project way off schedule. I suggest Dreamline, or Lowe’s, emphasize, Upfront, the kit has no walls..BIG LETTERS!!! sure would have saved us a lot of extra time & money!

We put this in our Airbnb private room. The doors slide really well. Never a problem with them. Its solid as they day it was installed. I wash it after the Airbnb folks leave. Sometimes that's 3 days sometimes it is a couple weeks. We have hard water. Putting in hot water softner helped a little with hard water spots but I found at Smart and Final, a tile cleaner: Maintex shower Tb and Tile Disinfectant Cleaner.. its amazing!!! It took three professional men to install the Dreamlike Showe... lots of parts....in two different days, gluing the walls in and bracing them to dry for a couple days. Did a great job. At first there were hard water spots to deal with but I ran across Maintex professional medical cleaner. Its very strong even deluted. Not for kids to use ever. I spray it on and go over wash out the sink for a few minutes and come back and wipe the water spots off. I do use it on chrome and it says not to, but I'm careful not to leave it on and. I cle!an off all Spray right away on Chrome. This shower is super well designed. I waited 3 years to see if it works. Got it thru home depot and all the parts were there. Nothing damaged.

Don't buy the shower wall

The glass and base are solid. The shower wall is flimsy. It was slightly bent in shipping so it would not adhere to the wall (despite multiple attempts with various forms of glue using youtube videos to supplement the manufacturer video). Probably for the best because it looks very cheap. I asked the manufacturer to replace the shower walls given they were bent in shipment but they wouldn't take the partial section back. This required a replacement of the entire order. Of course, I didn't know the bent shower walls would prevent me from using them until I had already adhered the shower base. Makes no sense to rip out a shower base for cheap looking walls.

three piece 38in

MY husband and i recently purchased this corner shower for our bathroom. The base was great...easy to install and looks really nice. The walls are a totally different story. The were cheap looking, incredibly challenging to put up, ypu had to cut them down to size yoursef, they were so warped that it was incredibly difficult to get it to lay flat, the pattern did not cover the entire wall like the picture showed. We were so disappointed in the quality, overall look and difficulty in putting the walls up. I would not recommend the three piece shower. Stick to the two piece and tile the wall behind it. Or get a different shower all together.

Ok first off, If you can't write a review about the WHOLE experience just forget about it. Errors happen, it's a part of life. Just deal with it and move on. Oh and BTW, this is in accordance with the guidelines. There is another store that is happy to have our business.

I got to admit, it looks great, the phone support is very good, but the instructions can be better. I would give it a 4.5. To glue the panels to the wall, use liquid nails 715/915. I used one and a half tubes per panel. The first panel, I just went around the edges about one inch out from the edge and S pattern for the rest. The second panel, I went around the edge about one inch from the edge and on all the points that would touch the wall. Our panel has a molded design that only some parts of the panel will touch the wall. This worked perfect. The first panel has a couple of areas that are not flat with the wall, but you cannot tell unless you push on it. The second wall is perfectly attached to the wall. It is a good idea for the side wall adjuster channels, but our walls and floor are pretty true and only 1/4 inch adjustment was necessary. I would preferred that the side glass in a wall channel be the adjusting method for untrue walls and floors. Our previous shower was that way. Make sure you use silicon on the outside of pan and wall channels. My $0.03. All and all, My wife is very happy. So, all is good.

Quality and well packed

Ok so I only just got the shower picked up from Lowes. It comes In 3 boxes that all together fit in my Toyota Sienna just fine with the seats folded forward. We slightly unpacked everything to make sure the glass wasn't cracked or the walls weren't busted etc. The shipping and packing on this shower are impeccable! The glass is protected that it's fine China and the base and walls were well wrapped and protected. The box of the wall units got banged up in shipping but the walls were still in pristine condition. The base is SOLID. Thick plastic, small square pattern for texture and grip. I'll post an update once we actually install it.

I chose this product because of the solid reviews it had already gotten. I am also pleased in the quality of the materials. This was my first attempt at installing a shower kit. The kit I received came in 3 boxes - base, walls, door. Installation wasn't difficult, but you definitely need to read through the instructions a few times to understand what's needed. This kit takes some time to install - to allow everything to dry properly its a 2-3 day project.

There was no option to update my review or add pictures, so I am submitting this as a 2 year follow-up. This shower system has been rock solid. My basement bathroom has been experiencing higher traffic, as we are remodeling the bathroom on the first floor. My shower has continued to function flawlessly with no leaks or other abnormalities, and I still receive compliments on the unit when people visit my house.

High quality product. Looks incredible. Perfect for basement install.

I was looking for a shower setup for my basement, which has low ceilings. My bathroom only had about 75" of clearance from floor to ceiling, so my options were limited. I found this Dreamline system and was excited to see that the finished height of the unit was 74.75"
