I actually felt one of

I actually felt one of these out before. Your company did a very good job and the product was excellent. Missed one small detail on a ball latch but overall was good. I will be purchasing again.

Accuracy

I was unhappy with the accuracy of the door setups. On 3 out of the 6 jamb sets I had to remove and reinstall the door stops. The doors would not even close because they were hitting the hinge side stop. Also the space between the top of the door and the head jamb is too large, 1/4 - 3/8”. I had to make a thicker top stop on one door to cover the space. Machining quality was not the same as my last order. I was somewhat disappointed. Alan Potts

Great doors. 2nd time i

Great doors. 2nd time i have bought. Only issue is that the hardware for the solid core bifold doors does not work. Had to buy different hardware to mount at the bottom due to the weight of doors.

Door looks great in the end. Definitely needed some wood filler and other prep in some dinged areas to get the final finish I demand. This was used as a barn door, and i planned on recessing the flat door handle into the door. After drilling through and seeing the way the backside chipped out and flaked, I knew the door wouldn't route out cleanly, so I had to trim off an area of the door casing to allow for clearance of the handle.

Excellent Doors!

I purchased 7 of these doors to replace my old 1955 interior doors in my home that were hollow core and very beat up. These shaker doors from build.com were great, I needed some custom measurements on a few of them and they cut them perfect. Great looking, they seem solid and look excellent. Great product at a good price!

The paint could have been

The paint could have been better on 2 of the doors. The quality of the doors is very good they were packed very well. They look great. Just about ready to install

Veneer Not Good

Low quality product. The cardboard like veneer on these doors is cheap. I received doors that were not properly primed or sealed, the veneer was clearly visible on the edge of the door and was separating in many areas. If these doors are exposed to any moisture, the veneer swells like a sponge, and is not easily repaired, if at all. Expect to spend a lot of time prepping and sealing them for paint. Not worth it to me… never again Trimlite.

Came in damaged. Prehung door but prehung upside down. Poor quality and finish. Replacement was backordered for 2 months so stuck with a subpar door. Had to pay the carpenter extra to modify the door. Be sure to check jamb size.

Great doors, Great people.

These doors were very well made and assembled with attention to detail. They are heavy, solid, tight units. Pippy went way out of her way to work with me on getting exactly what I needed and Jesus was excellent to work with on pick up. I highly recommend thus company.

Do Not Buy

Poor quality product. Requires extensive sanding to correct misaligned veneer, rough unfinished edges that look like they were cut with a chain saw, and visible seams. I spent hours sanding to get ready for paint. Very fragile veneer that scratches and dents very very easily.

Don't Buy This Product

Poor quality. Doors were very rough and needed extensive sanding especially around the edges. The instructions say light sanding, but edges were rough and misaligned in parts requiring significantly more than light sanding. The top layer of wood like material (it doesn't seem to be wood but a poor composite material) damages very easily and frays when sanded. You can't sand any deeper than the primer coat without needing to bondo or wood putty it to smooth the fraying/fuzzy wood like material to make it paint ready. Many Joints were visible and had to be sanded and bonded to hide the seam. The top wood like material was misaligned at the outer edges on many doors requiring heavy sanding. Product is garbage.

Love them!

These doors exceeded my expectations! They are such a beautiful upgrade from my hollow-core 1950's doors. They are very well made and were very easy to trim/plane to fit my not-even-close-to-square door frames! While the shipping did take longer than expected (COVID!!), the doors arrived undamaged and well packaged in plastic and a sturdy crate. Painting and doorknobs next!

Great overall, excellent quality.

The doors arrived in perfect condition, great primer. The delivery company rescheduled on me twice, but he helped me get everything into my garage which is more than expected. Will definitely order again when I finish the rest of my remodel. Lots of packaging to dispose of, but kept them in great shape with shipping!

Good value

Good value door, but with any non-prehung slab door there's a fair amount of work involved with finishing, drilling for locksets/handles, and routing for hinges. Ordered three Douglas Fir doors. Great, vertical-grain exterior facings, solid rails. There were a few glue spots here and there that required additional attention prior to finishing, and at least one spot where I had to glue/clamp the facing due to a small impact during shipping. But comparable doors from other places were like 3x the price, so good value indeed.

We are very happy with the shaker-style 2-panel solid core doors we got. Our house looks so much better now. The door quality is outstanding and they are beautiful! My only complaint was that I had left a product inquiry email/message and never received a response. We took our chances and placed the order anyway and am very glad we did.
