Bathtub

Good price, quick shipping and very well packed with complete instructions for installation. I was very pleased with my experience with this company. I ordered a new lav faucet and it was just good.

Nice tub but creeks

I wanted a more sold tub, but not cast iron, so this one seemed to be a good option, as most of the other tubs offered were acrylic, which I did not want. I dislike that the color is not white, but more of an off white, and that it creeks when you move around.

Wonderful bathtub

I absolutely love this bathtub! It is so comfortable and it keeps the water hot. I looked at so many brands of tubs and I am so glad that I picked this one. It was also easy to install and not too heavy.

[Rewarded Review] Good quality tub

The tub is good quality, deep, but the extra width is a little odd. The tub opening is still a normal size, it is just set closer to the front, making a larger rim around the back. It looks ok and will work well.

Pretty, But Disappointing

I wanted a classic white tub for my 1923 home, and this one looks the part. However, I am not sure why a bathtub of this configuration is even manufactured. I ordered a taller tub, assuming that it would have a deeper basin--my fault for not carefully checking the specs. This was my first time ever buying a tub, and I've learned something from it. Once installed, this tub is difficult to get into because it is so tall, and then the basin is so shallow that I feel like I'm sitting in a bird bath. The difference in height between the bottom of the skirt and the bottom of the basin means that the bathroom floor is significantly lower than the floor of the tub, which is disconcerting if one isn't expecting it. I'm going to replace this immediately; buying it was an expensive mistake.

AMERICAN STANDARD TUB REVIEW

I have used this tub for two Bath remodels. I like the price, weight and finish on this unit. It is low enough for older clients to step into easily. I also like the pull up/ push down drain plug. No hard to adjust wire system as in most other drains. Hidden overflow hole and no metal plate with the lever for the drain operation. Also the bottom has a texture , just enough , to prevent falls. Would recommend

Great Tub...cheap junky parts

The toe tap drain stopper and the overflow cover are only made of plastic. It makes the tub look cheap and ugly...

High-quality standard tub

I purchased two of the American Standard Princeton bathtubs for my home renovation. They were easy to install and have a smooth finish (except for the non-slip bottom--required for safety--and it's certainly not rough when sitting in the tub, just right for your feet to grip when standing). The design of the tub is a pleasing shape and appropriate angle to be comfortable and supportive to the back and neck when reclining in the tub. Overall, it's a sturdy, high-quality product for an excellent price.

Good tub

Easy to install, looks good. Had a couple of chips in the porcelain, fortunately where the tile covers it.

[Rewarded Review] always a good choice

Light weight and easy to install. Always accepts whatever drain assembly is used. Have gotten much positive feedback on soaking design and grip surface on floor.

Incorrect dimensions listed

When selecting a tub, go to the American Standard site and download the actual spec sheet for the tubs you are comparing. The only difference between a 30" tub and a 34" tub is the width of the flange on the back of the tub. The "Bathing Well Dimensions" are the same. If you think you are getting a larger tub, you are not. The rating is for Home Depots poor description and dimensions. Great improvement over stamped metal tubs with the integral overflow and composite backing on the steel tub.

So far, so good.

Looks great! I just started using the tub so not sure how it will do. I am a little worried about the surface from cleaning but no problems so far. It has a built-in drain which I didn't know so I ordered a drain which I didn't need so I sent it back. Hope it keeps it's shine, time will tell.

Leaks at overflow

These tubs fail very early in thier life and begin to leak at the built-in overflow, the overflow is just fiberglass attached to the steel tub and crack and separate after minimual use, would not recomend this product
