One and Done
I ordered the ceiling fan downrod and realized it would not work. I immediately tried to cancel the order online, but it wouldn’t allow it. Tried to do an online chat and waited for 45 minutes. Nothing. I sent an e-mail to customer service since the first two methods were unsuccessful. By the time I received an e-mail response, I was told the downrod had already shipped and I could not do a return at this point. One and done with this company.
Good purchase
This download works perfectly with the WAC fan. We needed it for a 12" ceiling in our bathroom. It made the fan the perfect height.
Lower the Fan to the best location
The ceilings are 24 high in our cabin so we needed two 5 foot down rods to lower the fan. The downrods worked perfectly and matched perfectly.
As Expected
There's not a lot to say about this downrod. It's a standard type that was selected to match a fan by WAC. The finish matched well and the rod was easy to install during the fan's installation. Works just fine.

My new ceiling fan (from Home Depot) came with a standard 4" downrod. It had a small hole drilled into it with a screw attached green wire for grounding. The 24" WAC Lighting replacement rod has no way of attaching the grounding wire.
Very nice match to my new fan!
After 21 years my ceiling fan gave out on me, plus I needed an update anyways. Found the fan I wanted, but I needed to drop it off a sloped ceiling by 4 foot. This down rod fit and worked just like it was made for this fan! Very happy with the results!

WAC Ceiling Fan Downrods should only be used with WAC Ceiling Fans. Our downrods are manufactured to work with WAC fans only, failure to use with a WAC fan only can result in damage or injury. WAC downrods are 3/4 in. outter diameter and can be used to extend your WAC ceiling fan height. Downrods are available in 12in, 18in, 24in, 36in, 48in, 60in, and 72in. Downrods cannot be used with "Hugger" or "Flush Mount" ceiling fans. Available in a variety of finish options to match your ceiling fan finish. Downrods can be joined together using a downrod coupler (DC-xx) to make lengths greater than 72in. All WAC downrods have a single threaded end on the motor side and can be shortened in the field by cutting the un-threaded side, for instance if you need a 10in downrod you can purchase a 12in and field shorten it by 2in.
