[Rewarded Review] Arrived Damaged

Several beams arrived dented and damaged. We called right away and submitted the needed pictures to get replacements. We were supposed to hear back On Mon Nov 9 for the status of our claim. Still waiting.

Directions were horrible. Too many parts for a simple system. Most of the pieces were dented and or creased. First windstorm tore off tin roof pieces and had to replace with longer pieces to keep from flying away (another $300+). Curtains are cheaply made and fly everywhere. Would never recommend.

I love the concept and the quality of the materials however I had several pieces come damaged and bent which made assembly extra difficult. Some things I was not even able to put together and had to modify. With the modifications I am happy but it took my way to long to put together and I still have damaged poles which I hide with the curtains.

we got this pergola because we were having a hard time finding one tall enough to fit over our back door that had a step up. The curtains and the netting are by far our favorite part. At first we were worried that it might look cheap, but so far that hasn't been the case. I will say that some of the hardware could be slightly better quality, but for the price it isn't bad. I am worried that a zipper might catch one day and we will have a hard time replacing it. Overall, it's been perfect. There were a few dinged up pieces in the boxes, but nothing too crazy or worth making a big deal out of. The instructions can be confusing, so just take your time. It took 3 days (working on it after work, so not full days) to get it completed with one person. You will need a second person at some points to help hold things steady. it suggests 4 people, but honestly I think that's too many. there were a few directions that were unclear/wrong so just take your time. the boxes that were delivered were packed well but extremely heavy. overall, this purchase was great and worth the money

Ordered 2 of them. Odered it Aug 8th didn't receive it when it stated, finally received it on the 23rd, came banged up and MISSING parts. Still waiting on the replacement parts. THIS SUCKS.

Such a great gazebo for an affordable price! My backyard looks more complete now with this piece! I wasn’t too hard to put together! I am really happy with the durability and quality of the product! It’s been a dream having this new gazebo in my yard making everything look so much luxurious. I highly recommend this gazebo!

Missingbparts, damaged parts, holes didn't line up and several were not even pre-drilled. I've been putting items together for almost 40 years now and this has by far the worst instructions I have ever dealt with.

The greatest gazebo ever

I purchased this gazebo last month and I am in love! The quality is impeccable and people are always asking me where I got it from even strangers in the street that walk past our house. I love the double curtains where I can either be protected from just insects or Have the other fabric curtain that can protect us from rain or just for privacy! I bought it knowing that it’s good and I didn’t expect it to be excellent. I’m extremely happy with my purchase.

Sunjoy Wall Mounted Gazebo, Black Aluminum & Metal

This Metal Frame Gazebo is well built. Great packaging and delivery was fast. The instructions are manageable i was able to put it up with minimal help from one more person took me around 4 hours. Overall highly impressive and would recommend this.

Perfect addition to our home easy to put together built very well

The instructions for the Sunjoy 10 ft. x 12 ft. Black Steel Gazebo with Adjustable Polycarbonate Hardtop indicate that installation should take 60-90 minutes and six to eight adults are recommended for safe assembly. I was able to install this completely on my own, needing three other people at the end to move the gazebo into place. It took me about three to four solid hours. I was thoroughly impressed by the manner in which this gazebo was packaged for shipping, clearly aimed at reducing the risk of damage in transit. I found laying the parts across the lawn in groups by each letter and then by number within each group to be the easiest way to locate parts as I assembled. The instructions leave a lot to be desired during the first few pages, but try to visualize the final product and it should be easier. Use a drill if you have one. Don't forget to stake down the gazebo. The finished product is a heavy-duty gazebo that is usable year round for us (Southern US). I am extremely pleased with this gazebo and that is why I am rating it 5 stars despite the instructions. We actually use our backyard heavily for the first time in years, as we finally have an area to cool off and/or relax. My wife has her breakfast out there near daily. Our favorite feature is the UV resistant panels that can be moved around when desired. If we decide we want a little bit of sun or to stargaze, we can slide individual panels from the first two rows. Unlike traditional gazebos, you still get some light passing through the panels, which makes you feel like you don't have a roof over your head. The gazebo includes three sides of netting and panels, so if you use the gazebo in an open environment (not against a wall), the back side will have no curtain rod, curtain hooks, netting or panels. This gazebo would be great for any household. It has brackets to fasten to a building, but could also be freestanding as long as you have a solid foundation. The gazebo is slightly larger than a typical 10'x10' gazebo and that extra little bit seems to make a big difference. I would advise keeping this product away from trees and falling leaves/needles, as the roof isn't the easiest to clean. Overall, this is one of my favorite products I have ever owned.

The directions were a little unclear at times but overall was easy to put together. LOVE that the roof panels slide to open and close! Can’t wait to spend the summer under here with a cocktail!
