Beautiful brushed nickel finish and frosted glass

Flawless finish, solid construction, and absolutely beautiful ceiling light fixture. I bought two of these to match two I purchased and installed several years ago. The new ones match the existing ones perfectly. Very happy with the light fixtures.

We purchased these light fixtures in the 15" & 13" sizes (bronze finish) for every room in our house. We have a well-built, extremely solid, vintage 1927 Craftsman-style house on some acreage & after a lot of hard work over (3) years' time, we have been able to bring it back to its original Craftsman styling. Through our remodel, our home now reflects back to its 1927 heritage. Using modern updated materials, such as these light fixtures, that still allow it to have that "period-correct" look & feel, it harkens back to a time & era when craftsmanship really meant something.

Easy install depending on the electrical box. I had to use longer anchor screws, but again had nothing to do with the fixture. I am the daughter of an electrician and he left this for me to install and I had an easy enough time.

Love this light- not cookie cutter and beautiful

Looks good

Looks great as it matches the bathroom lights in my vanity. It does have a lot of pieces to it so it will a bit of work to change the light bulb.

What a lot of work to install!

Well, to begin with, not all the parts needed to install this light were in the package, and there were parts in the package that weren't used nor shown in the 'directions'. The 'directions' are just a thin-line small drawing of most (not all!) of the various parts in the order they are to be installed, and there is no key for which part is which. So, you need to have the missing parts left over from some other project or go out and buy them, and you need to be able to think 'outside the directions' to install it. It takes a lot of trial-and-error to get the ceiling plate attached properly to the electrical box so that the frame is close enough to the ceiling. Each time you adjust the bolts on the ceiling plate, you have to blindly match the bolts and the holes in the frame, which was a real time consumer! Once I got it together, I cannot get the glass dome to align properly with the light frame. I also should add that when I have to replace the bulb, there are several steps to remove and re-install the dome, and big opportunities for 'oops' for the dome to fall from the light and crash to the floor. I was going to buy another one for my entryway, but after working with this one, I wouldn't buy another one.

Light fixture for low ceiling

This light is perfect for our low ceiling. Not your standard dome light, much nicer!

A clean craftsman inspired look

Bought three of these to update the porch of our old quasi-craftsman home. Very pleased with the final look. Installation was very sensitive to the junction box being installed flush and flat to the ceiling and required a lot of fiddling. Even then, getting the two supporting bolts aligned and through the fixture was tedious. The bolts also held on by a very small 'bead' nut that seems inadequate given the weight of the glass. This is earthquake country so I plan to add additional screws into the underlying wood when I get the chance.

Beautiful look

husband's hands were too large for a portion of this installation so ended up calling in a professional. once installed, it looks fantastic and updates the house so nicely.

On the heavy side

Overall the lighting fixture is nice looking, but the frosted glass dome is on the heavy side. I am concern that such a heavy piece of glass will be above my head in the shower room. One of the little decorative bolt that is used to secure the light fixture to the ceiling is stripped. It will not fasten onto the screw. I will have the electrician install it. This light fixture is not small.

I purchased this light a month ago and I'm very satisfied with it. The light is very attractive where I placed it in my home.
