we just installed ours and we're very happy about how much air it moves. Given the blade span (68 inches) and compared to many other comparable fans, I feel this was a great value for the price. Houzz and the manufacturer really need to change that downrod info/image though. It automatically comes with 8 inch downrod which their diagram leads you to believe that there may be shorter downrod options. Wrong. After many phone calls, the shortest we found for this fan is the 8". I really feel that information needs to be corrected and made clear in the product description as some buyers may not be able to make that work with less than 9 ft. ceilings. We are very pleased with the fans.

Perfect for our space!
My dad installed this fan for me in my family room. It took my dad an entire day to install, but keep in mind he is getting up there in age and enjoys taking things slow with lots of breaks in between steps. We also had to assemble scaffolding to get the job done.
