looks great but hard to keep clean. .
product s 6 years old, and is in our main kitchen sink used daily. looks great from 5 feet away. but we have a hard time keeping it clean. .
3 years in it still looks like new. Easy maintenance and excellent design for washing larger items- including dogs!
Love it! The black is very pretty (for a sink!). Smooth finish. Seems easy enough to clean. I just use Bon Ami powder and it sparkles. Love the kind of hybrid farmhouse sink (all one big basin) standard sink, with that 3-4” partition like thing - providing a slight separation between the smaller and larger basins. Allows us to put 1-3 pans in there, and hide a full sink of dishes between dishwasher loadings, if things get too busy.
Durable sink. Easy to clean, no need for bleach. Doesn’t scratch easily or chip. Very spacious. We’ve had it for two years now and still very happy
Staines!
Very mad that this sink is stained after a couple of months. I should last a lot longer than that.

The sink is fantastic, such an upgrade from our old stainless steel. As my wife said; "The rare case where the actual item looks better in person than on the website". Installation was a little more than we anticipated due to a bit of shape difference, but we found an installer that was able to cut the granite and get us the perfect fit. Very happy with this purchase.
Beautiful sink!
I am so pleased with my purchase. I really feel like I bought the perfect sink for my likes and needs. I love the offset design. And I specifically wanted the low divide. It cleans up really easily. Been using it for six months now and no stains, chips, marks. It still looks just as good as the day it was installed.
Don’t get the matching basket strainers—get stainless!
The sink is great, but build.Com recommended that I buy a matching (white) plastic basket strainer and ring around the disposal opening along with it. Both are white to match the sink I chose, are cheap plastic and stain easily. I couldn’t stand how they looked so I ordered a stainless version and had to pay my plumber to come and install them. Very expensive and shouldn’t have had to. Please all…. Just go with the stainless version when ordering this sink and save yourself this trouble!
I love this sink!
That small divider is perfect. It gives you a little separation when needed but leaves everything open to wash large pots and pans. The material is gorgeous and feels wonderful. It hides water stains and feels very solid. It’s my favorite part of my remodel! The only bad thing is I didn’t buy this sooner! I love it!

While I was concerned about how hard granite would be on our dishes, it feels no harder than the previous enamel sink. Drains beautifully and stays clean. Warning to those with bad backs-- it's so deep, mounted under the counters, it could make you wish you were shorter!
You will not be disappointed
When 'refreshing' my 26 yr old kitchen, everyone I spoke to assumed I would go with a single basin sink. When I really stopped and thought about how I used my double basin sink, I realized my lifestyle calls for a double basin, but i wanted the flexibility of a single basin to wash large items with ease. And then I found this Elkay sink on build dot com. It is the perfect marriage between the two. I can put dirty pots on one side as I prep/wash food on the other side. I came from a composite sink that I loved so I knew composite was the way to go again. The black color is beautiful, easy to clean, goes beautifully with my white quartz counter. My only hiccup is I had to buy/return several drain parts til I found one that worked well with this. The Elkay model for some reason didn't work (I don't recall why right now). Ultimately, I had my handyman find drains that fit the sink. However I was ordering parts did not work out and the sadly, the Build dot com customer support was unable to help me in my ordering- they only suggested Elkay parts.
Beautiful and functional!
I put this low-divide sink in my remodeled kitchen 10 years ago. I liked it so much that when I moved, I bought the exact same sink in an updated color - light gray. I like the graceful, distinctive lines of the sink. I was nervous about the color and was pleasantly surprised. The light gray goes with gray and with my greige walls. It's a pretty gray and does not look at all institutional. The low-divide is nice because unlike one big sink, it's nice to have 2 drains - one for garbage disposal. I like to keep a dish drain in the other side for hand washable items because I don't want a dish rack on the counter. I really love everything about this sink!
Great sink
We really like this sink. The low divider makes it easy to wash larger items. I wouldn't mind if that was an inch taller, but overall it is a great sink and has held up well for the first few months we've had it.
Elkay Quartz Classic with Aqua Divide
We love this sink. We used to have a porcelain sink with 3 separate areas and loved that sink until we remodeled and got this sink. It is beautiful and functional and we don’t have to worry about chipping it
Just as we hoped for
The sink is beautiful and functional. The large size and the aqua divide design are very handy.
This is a great sink. My plumber installed it easily in the same spot as my old shallow stainless sink and I like the rear drain holes, my old one had center drain holes. I did have to buy the stoppers separately, but the Elkay designing the stopper fit perfectly, is really functional and looks nice too. Back to the sink. I chose darker gray because other reviewers said it was easy to keep clean. I agree. I really like it. The sink is so deep, I’ll never have to worry about having a sink full of dirty dishes again.
Disappointed
Replaced my black granite sink with quartz in "putty". Was washing a knife by hand and it slipped from my soapy hands and left a pit in the quartz sink. For the price of this sink it should be more tolerant to regular use. Very disappoint in the quality. Would not recommend this sink!!!!
I over thought this purchase. I decided on this particular style since I couldn’t have a farm sink with the cabinets that were installed, and I Love having that small lip between the sides for larger items. The sink did not come with grates at the bottom. I love this feature I found some that would work fine, but the one side was hard to match. The sink does get some water spots so you have to just keep with with the cleaning.
