Wouldn’t recommend

Bed wasnt awful to put together with 2 people but when the bed was delivered it was slammed down by the driver and then after 4 hours of putting it together we noticed a hug broken piece of course in the side you can see. And the base the mattress goes on doesn’t align with the holes created. The base part also sticks out pretty far so watch your shins.

This has been great. The drawers are shallower than expected though so some of the things that I wanted to go into it don’t fit. Otherwise it’s been sturdy and effective. We’ve also taken it apart and moved and put it back together to no detriment.

The surface the mattress sits on has no paint or veneer so a typically rounded mattress corner will end showing bear particle board. And the corners of the platform need to be more well rounded because they definitely hurt to run into. Otherwise it's not terrible for the money and overall looks nice enough.

I have to be honest. Bed came in damages. Although Wayfair was great and actually sent an entire new bed the manufacturer’s packaging of this item was very poor. Edges were super sharp my daughter and myself both cut our legs making the bed. I bought protectors so this really helped. I put this in a guest room so it is fine but all in all not a good purchase. We had to put something under the mattress from keeping it from slipping right off and thank goodness my husband is handy because not all holes matched up and some were missing. (

it's literally just okay. its made of particle board, so one of the panels that holds the bed on the base broke where the bolt was supposed to go when we were trying to assemble it. We did some adjusting and was able to get the bed to work. the other issue we noticed after some time of using it though, are the panels that "latch" and sit under the mattress tend to slide open over time. we have to lift our mattress and push it back together every so often. I gave 3 stars because the bed is surprisingly still functioning after about a year of using it. Probably would be a more decent option for a single person.

This is one time assemble. You never can reassemble it. If you ever have to move through this off. Need strong two man to assemble it. This is hammer and screw. Holes are not at the right spot. I buy lot of furniture online and put it by myself. Putting this together was feeling like it would have been much easier, cheeper stronger if i just measure and order those pieces myself from home deport, rent tools and build the whole thing myself. The materials are super cheep and heavy. I would return this only if I did not through out the packaging. This is my worst experience with Wayfair product.

Bed is sleek, sturdy, simple and exactly as pictured. Assembly was not as easy as thought, but when we worked through some confusion, the bed came together just fine.

Not very pleased with this piece. Admittedly it is VERY inexpensive, bit is difficult to assemble with one person (though I did mine that way). It is sturdy, with all pieces made of the normal wood chip/glue/fibreboard you'd expect at this price. I strongly disliked the fact the most of the set is unfinished on all sides, and some are not even labelled (with a black paint stencil) making assembly more rigorous. There are MANY pieces, and you assemble the base like a puzzle. The only real "finished" pieces are the thin trim you see around the mattress sides, and you need to put these in from UNDERNEATH the frame/bed. I did mine from the top with my own provided black wood screws. Disassembly for moving etc., must be a nightmare, I can't imagine building this more than once. So its sturdy, hard to assemble, and obviously not a "fine" piece of furniture. But it IS inexpensive, so two stars.

Pay a little more for better quality

If you can pay a little more at a furniture store for better quality and something already put together, you really should. That being said, if you cannot pay a little more and need a storage bed, here are a few pointers. First, use Gorilla glue in all the seams and joints. This bed will not stay together unless you do. Second, if you plan to use this platform bed on carpet, lay down some 2x4s and build it on top of that in order to raise it up a bit. Otherwise, you will not be able to open the drawers and most likely you will end up pulling off the drawer face if you haven't used Gorilla glue. However, if you place it on 2x4s it will lift it up enough to glide right over carpet and you can even open it by putting a toe underneath and pulling out the drawer. The drawers are set way back, so you pretty much have to get down on your knees otherwise. Lastly, do not plan to put anything heavy in the drawers, the bottom simply cannot take anything weighty.

It's Alright..

this products instructions are not very clear & i ended up using the wrong hardware in a couple places. ultimately, i had to undo it halfway through and put it back together again. Also, the tools the manual suggests will work (if you want to take 4 hrs to put it together). i recommend using a drill as well as the tools they recommend. it will make the process much faster. the pieces that lay on top just use notches to set into the bed frame and is not very tight. mine slides around about an inch each way. Also, i do not recommend putting this bed on carpeted floors as the droors do not pull in/out very easy at all. The last issue i have is that the platform doesn't fit a queen mattress like it appears in the photo. if i center my queen size mattress on the platform, it overhangs both sides by about a half inch; you can't see the color of the platform & it takes away from the look. overall, i still gave this 3 stars because it was a very cheap bed-frame & if you have all the right tools, and maybe a little bit smaller queen size mattress than me, it can be easy to set up and look fairly nice.
