Just can't beat the American Standard Cast Iron Sinks. All Good!

Porcelain was cracked in numerous places and had to be returned. Could not reorder because item was out of stock.

Product was of good quality and was delivered as promised.

Awesome sink, I held out and used patience when ordering because I know the performance and long lasting this sink provides. I had the very same sink put in over 40 years ago.

Unreliable delivery from Lowes

My sink was not delivered until a full week after it was promised. In fact, it was not even picked up from the warehouse until after the promised delivery date. I have had to re-schedule my entire project as a result. I will never again order anything from Lowes, including all of the new appliances that I have planned. I have had similar problems with Lowes deliveries in the past (my washer and dryer a few years back) Lowes has the worst customer service out there! Provide your customers with honest and accurate delivery dates!

A solid replacement sink

Top notch product from American Standard. This newest version of an updated classic has subtle but meaningful improvements over our old, including the finished lip design and the drains offset from center.

Works well

Sink looks crisply clean after a few days' use. American Standard ensured the delivery was handled meticulously. Plumber had no problems with installation.

It's not a cheap sink.

Liked depth & equal size of each side of sink; liked white color; setting up soap & detergent dispensors was awkward but got it done.

Overall very good quality. Cast iron sinks inevitably have a bit of warpage, and this one did as well, making the fit to the countertop a bit more difficult. Only complaint is enameling was very thin around some edges, particularly along the right front side, but it is not too obvious so I decided to just live with it.

We like this classic looking sink with its good sized basins. Be prepared--this is very heavy and requires two people to lift it into place. The white enamel is a pretty shade of white--not too grey, not too yellow--that matches nicely with my white appliances. The only flaw is with the slightly uneven edge. The space between the countertop and the bottom edge of the sink varies slightly so that there are some larger gaps to be filled with sealant. It is very slight, but it is visible.

Beautiful deep sink. It is reminiscent of an old farmhouse sink. The cast iron keeps dish water warm longer. It is super heavy so installation is a two person job. Very pleased!

Best Available white Cast iron dropin Kitchen Sink

I bought this sink from Lowe's on line. There was not much needed info or any reviews available to help me make decision. But since I could not find anything better that was close to what I needed so I ordered it anyway to give it a try. It came in perfect condition delivered to my home though a week latter than expected. The quality of enamel finish which was biggest of my worries turned out to be very good as compare to Kohler sinks that had bad reviews all over for enamel chipping off. This one is heavy 118 lb sink and cost me twice as much as compatible Kohler sinks but I think it is worth it. I have installed it myself and the enamel did not chip off as was reported by reviews for other brands. I love it and glad bought it. Only thing I dont like about it is it's Bowl is not as deep as my old sink was (9" vs 10") but that is how deep all other brand sinks were anyway. Looks like no one makes 10" or deeper sinks any more. If you like what you see on line for this sink then you can trust it and should buy it without any concerns after you read my above review. Quality is great.

Delivery and pick-up was convenient at our local Home Depot. Measurements given were exact, top-mounted perfectly, beautiful, clean white and sturdy. Very heavy, built well, middle-priced, we expect this to last as long as our beautiful Quartz-composite counter tops that do not look like they are 13 years old. As expected with any sinks, we have to be careful not to mar it with metal pots and utensils, but most marks come off with mild abrasive. We are happy for 2 and a half weeks, so far.
