Very nice fixture in person, appears to be very sturdy. Brightness varies depending on the light bulb used. Installing light is no different than any other light fixture.

Thanks to Quoizel and Influenster I was able to receive this Bowles Outdoor Hanging lantern! I love love love it! My husband said that it was easy to install (even though it took a couple weeks of reminding him 😉). I was very impressed with how well it was packaged for shipping. And the bubble glass on this -- is just beautiful! Once the siding is done and the new door is put in it's going to look amazing with this lantern. I can't wait to enjoy sitting out on the porch under this light.

This is a big, bold, and BEAUTIFUL light! We placed it out back over our porch and it shines perfectly. It gives off a lot of light, and it is very heavy and durable. The glass has an natural and authentic look to it, which brings an upscale look to the piece. It was very easy to install with great directions as well. Highly recommend!
