Unbelievable how much these things cost, they don't seem to be any better than a regular head except it fits the stupid holster in my Hansgrone platform. Evidently the larger head is 2x as much, what a rip off.

Hand Shower incompatible with Hansgrohe's own shower hose

Hansgrohe's own shower hose will not fit inside this hand shower because it's reinforced with thicker plastic inside the handle. If this hand shower was made out of metal instead of plastic, this would not be an issue.

I like this brand and I"m sure it would be great if you were looking for a supplementary shower head that is installed on either side of the main head. I needed one as the main head so this did not work. This review is meant as a cautionary tale so other's don't make the same mistake. Thankfully Home Essentials Direct is wonderful and I was able to return it.

I bought this item once before to replace a cracked shower head. The plastic cracks fairly easily if you drop it. I've was trying to purchase a new one, but Home Essentials Direct has refused to ship to my address. There was no explanation. I finally figured out that the new California regulations put a limit on the water float at 1.8 GPM (gallons per limit), whereas this shower head allows 2.5 GPM. The vendor should update the product description to clarify that the item is not legal in California any more.

Function on product, design good- however housing material NOT up to Hansgrohe

Although it won't be installed for several months, I received this product in the mail today. It appears well made with a metal housing on both the head & handle. The mechanism appears to run smoothly and the size will fit for the purpose it was intended. I'm pleased with the construction and finish of this unit. I also have a S150 on order which I expect to be a very similar product.
