Does not lock/work like others.

We purchased this because we often see them at the ball field and it looks handy for sunny days. However, ours does not work like others. The top is floppy and doesn't lock into place. It looks like it should, others we have seen does, but ours doesn't. We reached to Walmart/the seller, but no response. We have continued to use it as it is somewhat helpful when the sun is in certain positions, but it is useless when we can't lock it into a position for it to shade at other times.

This is a good size umbrella for a portable stand model. Love that it tilts to block the sun wherever it's needed. Great for viewing outdoor games in the shade

Durable , works as intended

I had this umbrella for two summers , takes an absolute beating! Finally starting to tear. I’m ready to buy another one , I work outdoors and it holds up and fold up great! Not the biggest shade but for one person working outside , saves my skin!!

What I like best about this umbrella is that it is so easy to use when needed and stored in its sleeve when not in use. I use it primarily for deck shade but I can easily take it to wherever I need it.

The best! Easiest! Perfect for flea markets or craft shows! Easy set up and well made! I use it for my dog also at a flea market. And it covers her and me very well and sets up in less than a minute. I'm going to buy another one just in case. This one should break or something should happen to it! I don't want to be without one.

Best free standing 2 person umbrella for outdoors

I purchased to use at my grandson soccer games and it works perfectly. It is very easy to use. It is lightweight and the carrying bag make carrying it around easy. Besides those qualities for me it allow me the freedom of not having to hold a umbrella.

I purchased this to be used at Pickleball events to give me some shade and it has not disappointed. It is very easy to assemble and is ready to use in just a few minutes. Love the hanger tools and cup holders are perfect for a water bottle.

Inside coating provides excellent sun protection

I am very fair and this umbrella is perfect to keep the sun off. The base is lite, but I simply place something on it to keep it steady if it is windy. I would rather have the lite base than carry a heavy umbrella when transporting. I lend this out all the time to my friends and definitely recommend that they purchase one.

I was skeptical that this wouldn’t be great quality since the price is so low! It is a solid, durable umbrella. My daughter needed it for her corner-candy stands and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring it anywhere we need shade. It folds up nicely and is very compact. We love it. Buy it!

Great protection for small tasks in the sun

I love these portable umbrellas! When I'm outdoors in the sun doing some gardening, I can use it and easily move it around as I go about weeding and planting. It's very lightweight, so the only problem is that a nice breeze can topple it.

Best umbrella for sporting events! It’s easy to set up and put away. It’s light weight as well. You will need to weight it down if it’s windy. I just purchased another one because I love it so much!

Highly recommend this sunshade!

Highly recommend this and purchasing through Overstock! I was worried about shipping but they were spot on with the delivery estimate and got it to us just in time for our camping trip! We also purchased a small water donut anchor to give it more stability in the wind. From camping to tailgating this sunshade is perfect!

A Great Alternative

This umbrella is a great alternative to the traditional "twist into the sand" beach/lake umbrella, although it is possible to do that with this one if you choose. We prefer using the base and securing it with the spikes provided. In addition to sand, the umbrella can be used anywhere in that manner. We have owned one for several years and decided to order a second to accommodate more people. It serves our needs perfectly.

Nice, but not in the wind.

I use these at work to keep shaded in 110 degree temps. You really need to use the provided ground anchors because if it takes a hard fall from a gust of wind the fabric will rip open. I'm usually on a hard surface such as concrete and asphalt so using a tool bag on the legs will work to keep it from falling over. TBH these are really for the beach anyway. these are only worth it if you catch them on sale.
