We have had ratchet salt and pepper pots when they first came out. They are simple to use and they are great if you have problems gripping with your hands. Would recommend them to everybody.

Fabulous salt and pepper shakers

This is my 2nd set of these ratchet grinders that I use as salt and peppercorn grinders. Needless to say I love and use so much I wore my first set out after 10 years!

Used them while away in a B&B and we were so impressed we came back and got some for ourselves. We've ditched our battery operated salt and pepper grinders for them, we love them. Sturdy, reliable, excellent quality, and good colour options, we had grey and white.

I’ve had spice grinders in the past but I can highly recommend the ratchet spice grinder. It’s easy to fill, you can choose how coarse or fine you want your spice and the ratchet mechanism is a game changer. It grinds the spices so easily. I highly recommend this grinder.

A great companion for an avid cook.

I have had this for a few years now and use it at minimum a couple of times a week. It is absolutely a joy to have fresh ground pepper with so little fuss. This is a wonderful tool to have in the kitchen.

This is easy to use if you have arthritis.

I place a plastic supplement bottle cap under the grinder when not in use to keep my counter clean. There was not one included.

Simply the best grinder I have ever used, so easy to fill up, as there is a small opening in the front that you just pull down, the adjustable grinder strength on the bottom is easy to change, it actually has arrows to show which way to turn it to get fine or coarse ground, the amount of makers of grinders that forget the arrows is shocking, but Kuhn Rikon have put it there so it's one lest hassle in a busy life, I can't recommend this grinder highly enough, it is simply the best.

It looks good. Easy to fill and easy to use

Excellent long-term performance

This has gotten moderate use in my kitchen and my family’s kitchen for more than 6 years now, which to me means an auto-recommend. We have 2, one for salt and one for pepper, and both are still going strong. However, they’re made even better by decent capacity and also striking design. I always get questions about these from friends when they see them in my kitchen. They look just as good as they did initially. Highly recommend these quality grinders!
