First year or two, it was a great clock. . .
I still think it's a beautiful clock. But after about 1 or 2 years, it started stopping, and then going again. Then it just stopped, after about a year. Changing battery didn't work. But sometimes it did, for a short while. Got tired of re-setting the time every 4 or 5 days, so into the recycle box it goes. (Bought 2021, this review is July 2024)

Does not compare to an original from the 50’s-which I also have. While the clock is cheap, I would have paid more for higher quality materials.
I thought the red part was metal but it is plastic. That is my only complaint. It keeps perfect time and I love it. If you don’t have a problem with the plastic then this is a great choice.

Disappointed with infor regarding size. I expected the FACE to be 9.5", NOT the BASE!!
Our clock was delivered in awful condition.the whole face was broken in pieces , so we never got to use it.

I love the retro look, including the bright red color which goes perfectly in my kitchen. I LOVE the easy-to-read numbers and the second hand, which often comes in handy when preparing food. This is the 2nd clock like this I have purchased. My husband broke the first one, which devastated me until I found that I could get another. PLEASE dont ever stop making this one!

Nice retro look, quality built.
I've had this clock for several years in my bathroom. Keeps perfect time, and surprisingly durable in such a damp environment. I have no issue with the ticking sound. I find it soothing.
