Bar height

I didn’t realize this was bar height and the legs/sides were not adjustable. Also, top is about half the thickness of the top for the similar bench we bought a couple of years ago.

Inferior Quality & Abhorrent Customer Service

Bench and cart arrived assembled. The bench was split at the top from over torquing one of the attachment screws. There was also a light, approximately 6 inch long gouge in the top. Additionally, there were a couple small, dimpled impressions in one of the side panels. After contacting customer service, I offered to keep the bench if offered a equitable discount. I was offered 10% or the equivalent of $25. I rejected this offer and elected the return option. The bench has been picked up, but I have not been contacted to confirm receipt or refund of my payment, which has already cleared my credit card. Contacting customer service again today and I've been bounced to three different centers/stores. I have ultimately been told I would receive a call back. Still waiting.

Missing hardware

Bought the workbench, opened up and no hardware. Lowe’s said to return it and no more in stock

The leg of my bench was bent and wavey

I like the bench. The assemblers at Lowe’s built it with the bent piece and an employee called me before the delivery team came. I like the bench it’s perfect for me. Lowe’s has logistics issues and communication with customers. I plugged in my email and confirmation number to verify the shipping date and time, they had no record of me. The bench is fine, just not the quality Craftsman has been known for over the decades, but will work for my purposes. I would but it again. P

pretty flimsy steel, but it is structured in such a way that it will bear weight. . . the 1" top seems a little light also, would have been much better 1 1/2". it is barely acceptable. . .

Great, HD Bench!

Love this bench!! Fits perfectly in my garage and it only took 3 beers to put it together!! Instructions were about 95% correct. There was one part where it called for screws to secure the middle bracket, but you should use the nut and bolt, which if you have any common sense, you'd know this. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
