Beautiful blanket

This is a beautiful blanket. Please note that the stripes run vertically. When you open the blanket that means that there is a large cream stripe down the middle of the blanket. It was not for me, but you can tell it is high quality.

Perfect spring/summer throw blanket

This is a lovely, lightweight and well made throw, perfect for the couch in warmer months when I don't want to use my thicker and fuzzier throw blankets but still want a little extra protection from the air conditioning. I want more!

Exactly right for summer in the South!

Perfect size, weight, color and quality! Other reviews were so misleading, I ended up purchasing a Full/Queen and a King bc I was worried the blanket wouldn't "fit." I didn't even end up opening the King - the Full/Queen is plenty big for my Queen bed and the summer weight is exactly right. I also found all my edges to be sewn well, so not sure what went wrong for a previous reviewer. I highly recommend this blanket. Wait for a sale!

Lightweight perfect summer cover blanket

Lightweight and breathable;

comfy

Super cozy and soft. Nice light weight to it so it doesn't take up too much room. My only disappointment is that the Redwood color has a bit more of a purple hue to it than I anticipated... I was expecting a slightly warmer/more earthy brown-ish tone based on the photos, but I'm keeping it regardless.

I love the matelasse throws

I love the matelasse throws I purchased. They are soft, comfortable and very luxurious. The colors are great! One I am using as a throw on our bed, it goes perfectly with our Coyuchi sheets and blanket. I have been looking for good quality organic cotton bedding for some time, Coyuchi delivers.

Years later I still get compliments

I bought this blanket in cool stripe about two years ago and it remains one of my favorite quality purchases. It looks fantastic, feels like for the summer and cozy for the winter, and washes amazingly. Because the cool stripe has both warm Greige and cooler blue tones it works with a variety of bed styles. I just love it!

Snuggly soft!

We had been looking for a textured neutral blanket to complement our white bedding and walnut bed frame. This blanket is just perfect! It is incredibly soft, surprisingly thick and sturdy, and perfect for snuggling in bed or on the floor- the kids love it too! We got the neutral stripe and it does have a more blue color scheme which I did not realize from the pictures. Still looks great and we love it!

Absolutely beautiful. I don't think I can express how much I like this throw in words. It is soft and well-made. The color has an earthy, organic feel which I love. Nice details throughout. It's lightweight, so perfect for warmer weather or just a light layer. You won't be disappointed by this purchase.

Perfect light blanket, not so good quality control

I'm in the fence about how to rate this blanket. The fabric is exactly what I was looking for. It's about the lightest, softest, cloud-like material I've ever felt, and somehow it has just a hint of roughness just at the surface that highlights the natural fibers so that it doesn't feel like one of those ultra-soft synthetic materials. 10 out of 5 stars for the material! So why the 4 star review? Quality control seems to be lacking. The first blanket I recieved was unraveling. There's a small v stitch all the way around the blanket and the end was coming undone after the initial wash. If I pulled softly at it, it just keep on going. Customer service was great, and immediately sent a replacement. The replacement blanket was finished off better than the first, and I could see the back stitching that should have been done on the first. But, and it's a big but, the blanket was about 8 inches narrower than the first blanket. The first king-sized blanket wasn't exactly huge either so there wasn'tmuch wiggle room. The small-ness was also uneven making the blanket shaped like an hourglass. This meant that when I made the bed there was little to no overhang of the blanket on either side of the bed and no overhang towards the middle of the bed. When making the bed if I pulled one side, the other side popped up exposing the sheet underneath. I ended up asking a friend to mend the first blanket and I'm sending the replacement back. 2 out of 5 stars for qc. It's unfortunate that the qc for the product is lacking, but the material feel and great cs keeps me happy about the purchase.

Great for spring/summer

I love sleeping with this blanket as the weather warms up. It is lightweight and breathable, and I don't get overheated at night. Color is pretty and goes well with my bedding.

hot desert night comfort w/o extra heat

LOOOOOVE. Its like being wrapped in a soft gauze baby blanket. Beautiful clay/old fashion rose color. Its gonna be awesome to wrap up in on those hot Joshua Tree nights when i need something thats not hot but comforting so i can rest during our desert summers. Trim your cats claws before they hang out on it. Its thready...beautiful but doesnt stand up to kitty claws! >^..^< So I put it away and pull it out for just me!

Perfect For All Seasons

I bought this blanket in the Neutral Stripe to go with my Redwood linen duvet and my manzanita quilt in Steel Blue. I have the linen sheets in Natural Chambray for reference.

Don't buy if you have cats

DO NOT buy this if you have cats. By the end of the first night this had at least 11 dime size holes in it from my cat walking and sleeping on it.

This blanket is just perfect. I hesitated initially because of the price, and am so glad I ended up purchasing. I live in the tropics and my new cloud comforter set was just too warm for the summer months. This blanket is just enough over my sheet for a luxurious perfect tempered sleep. I went with the "warm" and the coloring goes well with my otherwise cream neutral bedding. I'm quite picky when it comes to the feel of textiles and was also pleased on that front as its extremely soft. I've highly recommended to all my friends, and now here too!

Gorgeous lightweight blanket

The blanket is absolutely gorgeous. I love the look, feel and texture. The colors of the blanket are muted, but quite lovely. This is the perfect lightweight blanket I have been looking for. That being said it is rather small, but after all it is a throw blanket. I am 6'-1" and if it were available I would have rather had the blanket in the queen size versus the throw. I have already ordered a queen size blanket in a different style and color that is available. I will use my throw blanket as just that and leave it on my bed as an accent piece. Last but not least customer service is a joy to do business with.

Very thin blanket

I ended up returning this king size blanket because the fabric was even thinner than I was expecting. It’s really hard to gauge from the online pictures how thin it is. It’s like the weight of a sheet. For the price, I was also a little disappointed that right out of the box there were small snags in the blanket and loose threads along the fringe border. I was worried how well it would hold up in the long term. I am happy with coyuchi’s customer service/return policy. I’ll likely buy another blanket in the future, hopefully one that’s thicker for use on the bed.

Best layer to add this fall.

The weight Of my latest purchase the Topanga blanket is perfect for end of summer hot days and cool evenings we often have transitioning into Indian summer or pre-fall.

Pretty but stinky Coverlet

I gave the blanket 4 stars for its durability to be frequently washed & dried, for its softness & weight & the colors stay brilliant. But I am not happy with the smell. It came out of the plastic storage bag smelling like plastic. It was so strong. I immediately washed and dried it. Still stunk. I washed/dried it 3 more times. Still stunk. After owning it for over 8 months and laundering twice a week it still stinks. The only way for me to tolerate the smell is to add lavender essential oils to the wash and apply the EO on the dryer balls. I don’t understand how an organic blanket can smell so bad.
