Parts needed but works well

Well, I like this product, I did not realize that there was some basic electrical that needed to be done. With that comes the additional cost of A proper power supply converter. This works on low-voltage and you need to have a converter. I did not hook this up to a dimmable switch, it is something you can do. The tape is pretty sturdy and the 8 foot length was adequate. The light is actually quite bright, which I was extremely pleased with. This was not difficult to install at all, but just remembered to get the power supply that you need to complete the job.

Ribbon lights

The Armacost are very nice and simple way to add lighting to any room. I used a DC to AC adapter to power these so they could be plugged into a normal house outlet. These lights come on a reel and have an adhesive back to stick to your surface. I stuck them to a texturized ceiling and had to add extra adhesive to get them to stick. I added a remote to these lights but I had difficulty getting into sync but was able to eventually.

Great LED Strip Light.

This is a very nice LED strip light. The quality is good and the adhesive strip on the back seems to be very sticky, so no worries about it falling off once you adhere it. The one thing I did not realize was that it does not come with the power supply. Instructions are clear and concise and if you know what you're doing, you will have no issue issues whatsoever.

Bright White Lights

RibbonFlex Pro 8 ft. (2.5 m) 24-Volt LED White Strip Light Tape 30 LED/m 3000K… the lights are very, very bright. I wanted a softer light (a warmer glow) on top of the kitchen cabinets. So first, let me say that I will probably buy an aluminum track and defuser lens (sold separately) to re-mount the lights over and under my kitchen cabinets. I opted for the warm light strip tape to install in our media room because these would be way too bright! Yet and still, I think the RibbonFlex Pro White Strip Light Tape is a great product to use in its own, if you’re okay with the brightness. Seriously, most of the time we don’t even bother turning on our kitchen light, and it’s much better than using the refrigerator light to see in the dark. (▰╹◡╹▰) Easy installation; you can stick the lights anywhere, but the adhesive on the back doesn’t seem to be sticky enough in some places, especially when getting the strips to stick to painted surfaces. It took a few tries with a bit of patience, and they eventually stuck. Let’s hope they stay in place! After you get the lights positioned where you want them, you can trim any excess with scissors (I didn’t need to, though). The lights seem to work okay, but I wish it also came with a remote. Other than that, I’m happy we installed these lights… very convenient! (Ӧ ◡ Ӧ)

Under cabinet light.

Im remodeling but not ready to install light stripes yet. I did connect the lights to see how well they worked. They are bright enough to light under cabinets but not to much to blind you at night. I love that it has the option to turn them into dimmable lights. I recommend that if you are buying some get the one with the kit. Luckily I have a DC power supplier. The RibbonFlex Pro comes with Led tape light, wire support clips, and instructions.

8 Foot LED Tape Light - nice and bright

These lights were perfect for under my kitchen cabinets in the corner. I bought the 8 foot strand, and it was perfect for the spot I wanted to light up. The lights are a bright white LED strip, and they do not get hot. These tape lights don’t come with the power station, so we ordered that and then decided to put the power in the cabinet and drill holes in the bottom of the cabinets to run the cords and LED tape through. They are bright and look pretty reflecting off my white subway tiles. They do have wires on the end piece so you could extend the strip/tape if you wanted to. The adhesive is very sticky, so I don’t see it coming off the cabinets unless I peeled it off.

Little lights bright finishes

Looking at this ribbon lights I was thinking if it was the right choice to replace my old condensate lights under my kitchen cabinets. They wiring is a bit out dated and was not sure how they would work out. However after doing strip of these light I was very impress. As this was my first time doing this there where ton a video from both the company and on youtube to help with my install. You can also buy a kit that comes with a Power supply if your looking to connect it to an Outlet as well.

Not bright enough for my application

I received the Armacost Lighting-Ribbon Flex PRO Soft White LED Tape Light. It is a 24 volt 3000K light strip 8 feet long. The package included one straight and one 6 inch flexible connector to go around corners. The LED tape light does not come with a power supply which is clearly marked. I intended to use the lights for acrylic lighted signs. I plugged the lights into my existing power supply and was very disappointed in how soft the LED light was. It would not work for my application. I would defiantly try the lights before installing them undercounter or on top of cabinets as the directions show. They offer different Lumens of light per foot I would recommend the brightest.
