Good underlay. Has a stong smell but will settle over time

Product was damaged but useable on the second attempt. If you purchase this, DO NOT have it delivered to your home. Have it delivered to a store so they can deal with the damage that will inevitably occur since the packaging is apparently inadequate to protect it from UPS.

Material recommended by my floor installer for underlayment under 100% waterproof premium vinyl plank in master bath remodel. Floor feels terrific on bare feet. Quiet, supportive. Go here or go home. Buy with confidence. Note: bring your two-wheel dolly to move. May all your finish nails go in straight.

Plan on buying again as I have ideas for use if this works.

Product cracked, split, crumbled easily. Adhesive did not effectively retain cork together.

VERY BRITTLE

I purchased this product to use as an underlayment for a tile installation. I unrolled about 20 feet to find 3-5” cracks at the edges every few feet. I thought maybe I can just tape over them before applying thin set. Then a huge piece broke off while I was trying to position the cork for sizing and cutting at a door jam. I may be that its supposed to be like that , I’m not sure. I would never have expected a floor underlay to be so fragile

I use this under my plunk wood floor. Very easy to lay out and cut. Wish have thick one to make little more foam feeling.

Patience required but easy enough to install

Installed 1500 sq feet. You need to be patient when installing though. The first 2 rows are critical to get straight and tight. Rubber mallet to tap into place is essential. When it is in place, use the mallet to tap to get a tighter fit. Key part is trimming off some of the grooves underneath for edge pieces.

Absolute garbage and the glue is worthless. We are a flooring contractor and very familiar with cork and adhesive. After installing 500sf the following day had bubbles all over and took our installers an extra 5 hrs to prep the floor to remove the bad cork. Dont buy from HOME DEPOT

Great underlayment! My floor feels comfortable and the echo reduction is 10/10 for creaking old homes. Tricky to install in the corners. Consider a quality double sided tape. The glue alone works, but it takes a bit longer to stick.
