No matter how much I tried (with support help) we couldn't connect the unit to the home Wi-Fi. In contrast, I bought an S7 Robot and could connect it on the first try. I am waiting for the company to solve this issue before I will rebuy an S8 because I really liked it.

Expensive for the feature and mopping is mediocre at the best

Its expensive for the features it offers. I brought it in Amazon the base S8 model. Mopping water disbursement is poor and it doesn't wet the mop pad completely. On top of it, it's not the entire mop pad that vibrates it's only a tiny portion of the mop pad that vibrates. Dust bin is very small and removing debris out is not easy. It does raise the mop pad in carpets but it's not enough and as it will still wet my carpet (my carpet is not a high pile, it's just medium pile).

This is my first robot vacuum and it’s been a real pleasure. Even though my apartment is small I found this vacuum takes so much time off my hands and work as well. Gets the job done so well. I love the mop feature

I’ve had the Roborock for a few weeks and love it. It does a great job picking up floor debris and our pet hair. The app is a little tricky to figure out but otherwise very satisfied with my purchase.

This was delivered without the charging station, I tried to return it, and the Walmart store would not let me return it because they were closed for inventory. I'm now stuck with a $600 robot vacuum that I cannot charge. The robot vacuum with charging station is a $100 cheaper on Amazon Amazon – I wish I had known.

Best Robot Vaccum I've Used

Works great! I returned the Q8 Max+ due to sub-performance. This vacuum has been fantastic. I've been using it for ~2 months now.

Life saver!!

I bought this robot without the auto docks and it works great. The dustbin is large and takes about 20 seconds to empty - it will probably go about 3 days without emptying but I usually do it every day. I have mixed carpet/vinyl flooring about 750sq ft. The water bin will go an entire week without refilling. Works perfect for my needs of controlling pet hair and dander and daily floor maintenance. Just program it and Dobie gets to work.

This has to be one of the best, if not the best, robot vacuums on the market. I returned a Bobsweep because it would just stop. This one is very reliable and does a better than expected job mopping, but you do have to use the highest setting to get the pad evenly wet. Rug recognition works flawlessly when it mops. Directional floor cleaning and zone cleaning both work great.

I ordered a black model and got a white one. Not a big deal as it is a great product, but when I went to register for warranty Roborock said it was not an Australian product therefore has no warranty.

We purchased this vac to deal with constant hair from our two dogs and cat. The mapping feature works well and learns the more time you use it. It shifts easily between our hardwoods, high pile carpet, and Ruggable area rugs (some vacs have an issue with them due to the rubber pad. It is not completely immune from running things over; sometimes it will attempt to suck up a sock. My only wish is that the dirt compartment was larger and that I had gotten the version with the mopping dock that self-cleaned. This is an amazing tool for busy families with pets. Would buy it again.
