Like oak finish

The toilet seat looks great, but the hinge comes off every time we use it. We have to lean down and push the hinge back together. Very disappointed.

The seat and cover are handsome and as advertised, as are the hinges, The bolts, however, are plastic and do not hold securely so the seat shifts and has to be constantly re-tightened.

Worst toilet seat ever bought

I wish I could leave 0 stars. The appearance is acceptable. The seat was easy enough to install as I had installed seats in the past. However, once using it, the seat pulls away from hinge, shifts, and slips off toilet ledge when any movement is attempted. I can not even try to stand without it shifting. This shift is unsafe for anyone.

Not Real Wood

Do not buy. I bought two seats. They are not real wood. They are not even particle board; it's a wood powder glued together. They lasted three months before I had to tighten the screws. I got three more months use by tightening the screws more and more often until the holes deteriorated to the point the screws would not tighten and left behind a powdery residue (see photo). I had to fish one of screws out of the toilet.

Inferior product

The color is not dark brown. There isn't much of a finish on it and it looks like a fake wood grain. I thought for the price it would be oak but it is no where near the one I replaced because of broken hardware .

Good

This toilet seat reminds me of the outhouse seats, I like old fashion stuff so I like it. The lid of the seat kinda moves a little which makes me feel like the seat is loose which it's not, That's how it's made.
