The 6x9 rug I ordered is just as shown, but keep in mind the burgundy color in this rug is a dominant color. Most oriental rug descriptions use the word RED when it is really burgundy.The colors in this rug are muted, lacks a true beige, but does have off white.I will keep the rug and love it because I am not a matchy, matchy person.Oriental rugs make a statement and don't need matching pieces.Quality is excellent, rated 4 stars because the description said RED.

Beautiful rug, a bit darker than expected but it went well with a lighter floor. Colors that are more prominent than expected were light rose , teal green and dark rose. They blended well though.

I'm sure that in another home, this rug would be perfect, but the colors weren't quite right for my needs. The red was a bit too orange, and compared to another wool rug that I ordered (and ended up keeping), it was a bit too thin -- didn't seem as high quality a wool rug as I was looking for.

High quality rug
I purchased this hand knotted Royal Kerman rug and I am very happy with it. The colors are as shown and the knots per square in are very high. This is an excellent rug.
Just about perfect
You have to wonder if buying an expensive item from a picture is going to work out, especially if you have to incur the return postage. This is just about perfect. The colors are very close to the picture, although the deep wine/red boarder doesn't show in the picture. The colors are more vibrant and the green is sort of green/grayblue. Exactly what I needed to blend with the stone surface in my kitchen. The knots are tight and even and the workmanship is excellent. There is fringe on both long ends, not shown in the picture. This is the real thing. I'm a very happy purchaser. My son will inherit this one!
