Lids crack and ridges in the

Lids are cracking. I purchased the medium, small, and sugar containers. Rubbermaid replaced the lid of medium container once. Recently, I bought more containers to give them another try, and I also intended to give some as gifts. However, the small 1.3-cup container developed ridges and its lid as well as medium size cracked. I'm not sure if the containers I gave as gifts also cracked. I'm very frustrated because I was hoping these would be durable storage containers for the long term. The manufacturer has been aware of this issue for years, yet they continue to sell poor-quality products to unsuspecting consumers. It seems that Rubbermaid is making a significant profit, with no incentive to provide customers with a reliable product.

Lids fit too tight, and break while removing

I bought this set about six months ago, and I've had to throw most of them away already because the lids cracked while trying to open them. The suction holds them tightly in place, and, with pressure, the first thing to give seems to be the lids themselves. I take good care of my things and am very disappointed with these, especially since I paid more than I normally do for this type of product. I don't recommend.
