1/2 HP Zoeller keeping up with water flow

My 5 year old Zoeller 1/2 HP pump burnt out during the wet season, Fleet Farm had a replacement pump, it's working excellent, when I installed it, the pump ran about every 20 seconds, now that it's in the drier season, it has been kicking in about once every 5 minutes. The main reason I purchased the Zoeller is I've had good luck with them lasting a long time and preforming as advertised.

Worth it

Zoeller has a rep, and this lives up to it. The float switch is super quiet, you hear a click but it's way quieter than the pump it replaced. Super heavy, does what it needs to do, can't say anything else other than I hope to get many years from it

Replacement Zoeller for old Zoeller

Replacing same one that switched. Failed in ON position. Recommend steel versus plastic. Advised by plumber friend that is rebuildable but fail in about a years time

Reliable Quality Built In

This pump is built to last. Replaced my previous 12 year old Zoeller not because it failed, but just to get another 12 years of peace of mind. Never a problem and a 20 minute change from the old one. Would never buy anything else!

Worked great, for 18 months

Bought this pump for our yard drain. It worked like a champ for about 16-18 months. Now the output drops to less than half when we have a big rain event. It just can't keep up any longer. It's not airlocked, there's no blockage, the impellers look fine. The pump just can't keep up with our drain line. I emailed Zoeller months ago, and have not gotten any response. I will never buy an item like this from Lowe's again. I may buy another Zoeller pump, but it will be from a supply house, not Lowe's.

Tried to cheap out, just buy quality with warranty

3 year warranty, tried to cheap out by shopping at the Harbor, that 3/4 pump lasted less than 9 months with moderate work. Pickups this one before a massive rain event, it kept up with all the water and I’am very pleased. The 3 year warranty is piece of mind, rather than a 90 day from the Harbor, for a 100 dollars more this pump has thus far met the demand.

Beware of these pumps

After 5 weeks of rain many basements in our area are flooding. We all have the Zoeller pump with the rubber strap at the bottom of the float. These houses are all less than 8 years old. The rubber strap that is designed to hold the float so that it only moves vertically has rotted and broken which allows the float to swing up and not be in line to activate the switch. It's too bad that Zoeller has let a $.10 part cause their pumps to fail.

Higher horsepiwer

It is too quite. I like the noise to let me know it is working. I like the higher horsepower and three year warranty over the cheap one previously installed by a company at a very high cost. It isn't possible to give a five star rating when you don't know the performance. So far it is good

Not dependable not service freindly

The problem is with Zoeller and the Model 1096 product designed for Lowes ONLY. They sell a $400 pump that fails after 3.5 years for a $40 float switch that is not sold as a replacement. Their Parts List only points you to buy the $179 Pump Cap Repair Kit assembly that includes the switch.

Great Sump Pump From a Great Dealer

Purchased this Zoeller sump pump model to replace an older pump that was wearing out. Zoeller makes the best sump pumps in my opinion and this model is built very well. I also like purchasing this from Zoro as I was able to apply a discount coupon for this purchase and Zoro delivers quickly.
