Beautiful for high ceiling

This is a beautiful light that works well in our space (for reference in the photo, we have 12' ceilings and a 7' table). 7 x 60w is a lot of light, great for homework or projects. If you don't need that much light, consider installing a dimmer or using lower wattage bulbs.
