Great quality rug, colors are true. Purchased to coordinate with another Safavieh rug and they look well together. Easy to maintain and care for.

This is what I'll call an honest review. I'd just bought a soft, baby blue recliner, and I liked especially, the "subdued" look of this. Especially, of course, the blue. When I snipped the wrapper what came out of me was, "cheap, and cheesy." Sorry, Saravieh, but I bought from you previously and the colors were far different in that case too, and not very appealing. The blue here is garish, nearly royal, even colonial blue. Instead of being in a supporting role, it is prominent. The red is bright, and the dark brown is very dark. The colors fight each other and that baby blue recliner? It's a no. I laid it all out, but don't "like" it. And it has no real cushiness to it, and eventually I think it'll end up at the Salvation Army, which was my first impulse. I've bought several different rugs from Overstock in the past; some not so hot and a couple definite 5 stars. I have another Safavieh rug to review tonight, that also just arrived, and if you want, you can see the difference in how I feel about them.

The quality of this rug--in terms of the tightness of its weave, the backing materials used, the evenness and density of the pile, and especially the colors and patterns of the weave--far exceeded my expectations. The rug looks even better in reality than it does in pictures, which is saying a lot. It also feels great under foot, provided you use a (recommended) support pad.

Very nice with a caveat

The color and appearance are true to the photos shown on the website. When I saw this item on line I was struck by the color and I'm happy to say that the real thing lives up to the photos.
