Excellent! No slipping rug over carpet. Also protects the carpet fibers.
These carpet holders are good between wall-to-wall carpeting %26 area rugs that often move %26 have to often be readjusted. With these carpet holders, area rugs remain in place.
Very nice rug to rug pad that cuts easily

Bigger than I needed but Exactly as described
This carpet liner was not only a perfect fit, but it works perfectly to keep my carpet from slipping, sliding and moving
This rug pad did not work for us. It could be because we have higher thickness padding under our carpet which doesn't give the rug pad adhesive a solid surface to bond to. It attached to the rug ok but starts working loose from the carpet a little more each time it's walked on. Tried using safety pins to attach the pad to the rug and that helped a little but the pad starts to bunch up and is then visible at the rug edges. The rug itself still moves around on top of the carpet.
made the rug even slip more on the carpet
Rug pad - works well
I ordered the rug pad to go under my Safavieh area rug. Fits and grips beautifully.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose the right size rug for my living room?
Aim for a rug that fits all the main furniture pieces on it or at least the front legs of sofas and chairs to anchor the space.
Can I layer rugs for added texture and interest?
Absolutely, layering rugs can add depth and dimension. Pair a larger, neutral rug with a smaller, patterned rug for the best effect.
What's the best way to clean and maintain my rug?
Vacuum regularly, spot clean spills immediately, and consider professional cleaning for deep stains or at least annually for high-traffic rugs.
How does rug size impact the balance of my living room?
A rug that extends the full length of the sofa can help balance the room. A small rug can make the sofa look disproportionately large.
What should I consider when positioning rugs in relation to doors and furniture?
Ensure the rug doesn't obstruct doorways or get caught on the doors. It should also not interfere with the operation of any cabinets or cupboards that open into the room.
Are there practical tips for maintaining rugs and prolonging their appearance?
Rotate your rugs annually to even out wear and fade, and address spills or flattening promptly to maintain their look and feel. For more substantial size or shape adjustments, consider having rugs cut and edged professionally.
What are some considerations for choosing a rug in relation to the sofa?
Select a rug large enough to cover the area beneath the entire sofa, which helps in unifying the space and balancing the room's proportions.
What is the recommended rug size for a living room with a sectional sofa?
The rug should not be shorter than the length of the sofa and should be wide enough to fit under all pieces of a sectional, or at least allow for the front legs to be on the rug.
Can I use a round rug with a rectangular table?
Generally, it's best to match the shape of the rug with the table. Therefore, avoid pairing a round rug with a rectangular table and vice versa for visual harmony.
