Pretty colour. Inaccurate sizing.

Purchased the cream/grey rug and the colour is lovely. Soft and neutral. The rug is thick enough for the price point. Beware that the sizing is off. I ordered 8 x 10 and the actual size is 7’ 7” x 9’ 9”. I know there can be an inch or so leeway in the measurement, but the measurement is too inaccurate and I’m not sure it will work with my furniture placement. Very frustrating. It was rolled up so tightly that I’m not sure it will ever flatten, so it may have to be returned anyway. The long, arduous task of finding an area rug the proper size, colour, and style, may continue.

Affordable Large Family Room Rug

Purchased this rug for large family room. Size is wonderful for the price, paid around 250.00. We have pets and kids and in time ruin rugs so I wanted to get a cheaper one. Reason only 3 stars is because it's a thin rug. You could add some padding underneath though. Our coach sits on top of it so no need for a rug pad, it stays in place. It came all folded and rolled up so lots of wrinkles. It took a couple weeks for those to come out. I like the design and color, goes well with our furniture.

I am a Persian rug fan, with 2 wool and 2 polypropylene ones in other rooms in the house. But I decided to go more contemporary in my master bedroom. The pattern on this rug is very subtle. The beige swirls almost disappear into the cream background, especially depending on the direction the fibers are vacuumed. I was happy to get an 8x10 rug for under $150, but it is definitely lower quality than my Persian Safavieh polypropylene rug. It’s like a very thin piece of wall to wall carpeting that’s bound. But I wasn’t ordering a wool-silk Persian rug for thousands of dollars, so I am not surprised or disappointed. Just know that it is a budget quality rug. It is very thin, so you may want to use a rug pad to give the illusion of more plushness. If you have one already, I’d say. If you would need to buy a rug pad too, you might just step up to nicer quality rug. But the color coordinates well with my drapes and the pattern works in the room, so I’m keeping it. I may upgrade at some point in the future. Or not. Overall, as long as you have proper expectations based on the price point, I think it’s a pleasing rug.
