A top quantity product that needs a tweak

The quality of the product is generally very good. The inside knob for the deadbolt is not a shape that is easy to turn. Our old one was a longer, narrow design that was easier to manipulate. The photos in the paper directions are very poor. It makes assembling the set more challenging than it needs to be.

Baldwin is always a very nice quality - and this handle set did not disappoint. I would highly recommend it.

Excellent quality - I purchased it in black as to not take away from the glass design on my dark mahogany front door. The weight is substantial and the design is simple and quality.

Looks great. Install was a little difficult. And directions were not as user friendly as they could be. Overall, please with quality and look.

This handle-set was installed with a new Pella door about 5 years ago. Tonight, the interior knob pulled off in my hand when opening the door. Both screw receivers on the exterior handle had cracked and separated, no longer allowing the interior knob to be secured. I expected better from Baldwin. However, I am buying another so it fits in the same holes in the door.

Beautiful workmanship and solid materials

Replaced 46-year old antique brass finish mortise door latch handle set and dummy with this beautiful Logan Solid Brass with Black set. We renewed almost our entire exterior and this was the capstone on the entry doors. I always prefer Baldwin hardware because I know it’s constructed of solid brass rather than more lightweight hollow shells. The interior doorknobs, latch, and roses are similarly heavy and beautifully finished. Installation was easy using the included templates even though I had to move hole spacing for the deadbolt from 3” to 5.5” from the door latch. I highly recommend Baldwin locks and handlesets for any renovations.

Baldwin locks are rated highly. This handleset was very heavy, out of the box. A locksmith installed this for us and it works smoothly and looks beautiful on our door. Time will tell if the satin nickel finish stays looking great

We were replacing a worn out handleset and decided to use the same one. Since we were not the original owners of this house, we needed to buy our own so we had a proof of purchase. It was very easy to install. I did not install the key part, as we had a custom key set made and the color still matched, so I am not sure how hard that part is. Build was very fast to ship and has great prices! They also helped me when I accidently ordered the dummy set and not a working lock set!

[Rewarded Review] Solid Handleset

Purchased two sets - one for front door and one for porch door. Solid construction, good feel - not flimsy or cheap feeling like the big box store options. I also like that the interior egg knob can be set to horizontal or vertical depending on your tastes. The set has been installed on the porch door for several months already - no complaints. I installed the set myself - took a bit longer than expected, but much of that was due to the fact that it was a new door and frame and the factory hardware prep didn't quite match the size of the strike plates/etc. in this set. The finished result was worth the extra effort to make the pieces fit nice and flush.

Unfortunately length of handle is not a measurement and does not match current drill holes in my door. Therefore in order to use this handle I will have repair existing drill hole through a metal door. At this time I still have not decided if I will install it or not.

I bought this item a couple of months ago and it was installed last week. IT looks nice but the knob on the interior door does not turn great to open the door. I wish I went with the lever knob instead. Any chance of getting that one instead????

Beatiful Enhancement

I bought this recently to replace my brass set on a white door. It looks awesome! Very high quality. I installed it myself with a little adjustment and I am female! I installed the same oval knob sets on inside doors also. A very nice improvement in the look of my home.

baldwin entry set

i replaced brass with black same set. everything fit fine. only issue seems that the thumbpiece (the flat part that thumb pushed down to open door from outside) is higher than the previous version and it takes more force to push down on.

HIGH QUALITY! EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

I installed this new lock set which I purchased from homedepot.com. We installed it along with a new front door and the quality is very impressive! Much higher end then the 24 year old Dexter lock that this replaced.
