This product, towel rack is cheaply made. It feel apart after a few months of use. The junction actual broke and we’re not fixable.
The first one we received had issues with the metallic paint flaking off. The second one seems better. The assembled item seems flimsy and not stable. The metal is lightweight and hollow
Towel rack is as depicted in the advertising. The metal bars are not as sturdy as I was expecting, but it will be solid enough for holding the towels. Assembly is ok, best to have a second pair of hands to stabilize bars as you put together.
I sent it back. the parts seemed nice but the connectors were too tight and would have taken a lot of force to insert. the instructions said to use a mallet but the finish would not handle that. decided to return rather than damage so I couldn't return if I didn't like once assembled.
Good quality for the price. You need a rubber mallet to install (I did not have) other than that it was pretty easy. The rods are good quality. The connectors are plastic but look good. Let’s hope it lasts! Steady as far as a stand alone rack goes.
Purchased this for our new house. Couldn’t decide where we wanted to hang towel bars on the walls, so we opted for this instead. Very happy with it so far! Will be buying another for the guest bath.
Does the job. Good size for all the towels. Next time I won’t get the chrome finish. You have to assemble it with a rubber mallet and I found it difficult to put together.
Bought a house with little wall space to mount towel racks in the master bath. This design is great on many levels! The styling is elegant and the finish is great! The 3 bars hold 2 large towels and my tub dry mat so neatly. I live in a humid area, so hanging the step out dry tub mat is a great feature to have!
You sent the first towel rack which |I explained doesn't have chrome feet to match the rest of the towel rack. Instead of telling me there is no longer a totally chrome towel rack you sent me a second one which arrived Saturday Oct 29 2023. It also doesn't have chrome feet. Now I have 2 towel racks that are not suitable!
Looks good, sturdy towel stand. Installation directions not great - hard to connect the pieces (one needs to be stronger than I am to bang the pieces together with a mallet.)
looks good, would like it to be a little sturdier but since I use it alone I can take care of it. Update: I changed from 4 to 5 stars. It's been serving me for a long time and it holds up well, Looks the same as when I took it out of the box. A good purchase.
Not very shiny. A bit flimsy. It does the job but doesn't match any chrome item we have in the bathroom. Towels do dry but it's also over a vent which helps. Functions but not perfect.
Very flimsy material, not sturdy for holding towels. Cheap quality. Some of the parts are cheap plastic. Definitely not the quality I expected for a standard towel rack. Light weight garbage basically.
It looks nice, and it holds towels, but it doesn't provide a lot of room for air circulation, so the middle towel can stay damp. The legs also have a tendency to bow in because there is not a bottom support. Overall, it gets the job done & it's a fair price.
Good looking bath towel holder!
This met all of my needs. I have family members who use a lot of towels, so his was definitely needed in our bathroom. It’s helpful to have a rubber mallet so that the connectors can be inserted into the ends. It took maybe 20 minutes to assemble, but once it was complete, it is pretty sturdy. I used them for large bath towels, so on the lowest rung the towel hems hit the floor. Not a big deal for me. I set this up so that it is perched right above a heating vent. That makes for the perfect towel dryer, when the towels are stretched and draped longways over each rung.
This towel Stand is made cheep. Never would have purchased it if I had seen it in s store. Metal base sits directly on the floor. There were four rubber stickies to put under the rack to keep it from sliding and directly touching the floor. The stickies will come off first time the rack is moved. Two screws per towel bar hold each bar upright. No brace to keep the thing from colapsing forward.
Intimidating when you open the box, lots of pieces. Also had to go buy a rubber mallet. Turns out not too hard to assemble. It’s not very sturdy, it bends a little. But it serves the purpose of holding a towel within easy reach to the shower door. And it’s the right size if space is limited.
I am very sorry I made this purchase. It was not clear that I needed to have tools to put it together and the directions are awful. It looks much nicer in the picture than in real life. I bought a different towel stand that was much easier to put together and I did not need other tools. If you do not want a hassle when putting it together, I would not buy this one. It is still waiting to be put together...
Exactly what I expected and perfect for bath sheets. It has the added advantage of being mobile so can be brought to the edge of the bath for easy access. There was a comment about the base not being parallel, which I also noticed. I am not sure how it is achieved because all the bars are the same length and the mounting holes are centred so, theoretically, they should be parallel. The shape does add to stability because a rhomboid base is not easy to tip over.
Was a little surprised when putting it together; corner joints are grey plastic and obvious! Looks good from a distance but appears cheap up close. Not the quality I was wanting for my guest room. On the plus side it's quite large and can serve as both a towel stand or a blanket and hand towel/face cloth stand for quests staying over but not needing shower linens. I also like that it keeps even a bath sheet high off the floor so I'm never worried about water damage from towels resting on the flooring.
