Great quality

Symmons is one of the best manufacturers you’ve barely heard of. It may not be as stylish as some other manufacturers’ kits, but that’s really just a personal preference. It is very well made. The parts are high quality, almost all metal, with minimal plastic (such as the shower heads, which would be too heavy if they were made of metal). I considered and rejected other, similar products because of the amount of plastic. This kit came with everything needed for installation, which was a big reason I bought it. This functions well, looks good, the water flow is perfectly adequate and overall I am very pleased with it.

Price was right for what it is

Due to supply chain issues and availability, this shower system fit the bill. I needed something quickly to have the valve installed. Satin nickel finish varies in parts. Bar for hand shower big. Looks like a handicap bar. Luckily this is a little used bathroom.

[Rewarded Review] A Comprehesive Shower System

This is a full version of shower system and bath tub. the major water valve and the divert valve are in quality solid brass body to ensure for long lasting. Each of the control handle also in solid metal cast body plus polish chrome in a moderate style. The contour of the body are classical image plus comfort in hand handling. One of the most outstanding is polished stainless steel bar are in super strong design over 1" in diameter and 36" in length. Which is good enough either for safety or move around in the shower area with ease. With both shower head and 60" flexible hand-held shower design that will fulfill your way of comfort during your shower time. The Valve Cover Plate are shinny chrome with clear letter indicate hot and cold water and back of the plate already preinstalled the cushion rubber seal for water sealing. On whole there is no compliant of this shower set. Which is I waiting for it. Only the installation of the piping may need upgrade for this system. I strongly recommend to hire a Pro Plumber to install for you. Lastly, this is water sense product, so you won't waste your water and save your money too.

Great value for the price. Everything in this shower set seems to be well made. Sure, the spray head and a couple other pieces are plastic, not metal, but that really is pretty standard with almost all shower faucet sets. A metal shower head would be too heavy to hold and lift, so it is made of plastic. The valves are solid brass and hefty. Of course, Symmons is well know for high quality. They are pretty much the standard in commercial shower settings because of the long lasting, low maintenance they are known for. I highly recommend this product.

[Rewarded Review] High quality, well built, great buy

I selected this bathtub/shower faucet because I am building an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) in California which has super strict requirements on bathroom fixtures in which showers must be 1.5 GPM or less, which this one meets. Everything you need to install the shower is included. I saw some reviews that were negative about the parts being plastic. All the important parts – valves, diverters, hose, grab bar, and handles are solid metal and of high quality construction. The only parts that are plastic is the shower head, the hand held shower and a few trim pieces. At this price point with the valve, separate shower head, hand held shower, and grab bar, it is a super buy.

[Rewarded Review] SINGLE HANDLE AND WATER SENSE

SINGLE HANDLE AND WATER SENSE. After reviewing all the features and HDWR of assembly. I have ascertained that chrome finish is even and not superficial. Packed inteligently and well. The instructions are descriptive and understandable, the illustrations are well defined and apply to this model. What I found astounding, was that the valves are made in TAIWAN, TAIWAN. The valves are well cast, and show no oversights. Granted most people look ate the appearance of valves etc., what I concentrate on are the soundness of product, of which the critical components of this shower are constructed in TAIWAN.

[Rewarded Review] Amazing Value - Safe and Long Lasting

This is the all-in-one for shower bath faucets from Symmons. A faucet to fill the bath and two shower heads, one fixed and one handheld, for maximum flexibility. We're updating our 60-year-old bathroom and this is the perfect solution. Nice classic design in chrome with the added safety of the Temptol valve that ensures the water will not burn you if someone flushed the toilet. Overall a very good buy at this price point!

Disappointing performance

Disappointed. Water pressure is isn't very good. But what I really don't like is when you turn it off there isn't a definite "stop" point it feels like you have to really bear down on it so it doesn't drip. My previous shower when you turned it off there was a definite stopping point felt. The diverter knob which decides whether the water comes out of the sprayer or the shower head is also loose.
