A little thing like the cap on the top of a kitchen faucet handle doesn't seem like much, but when it's gone down the garbage disposal, there's a noticeable gap that spoils the look of a new counter top. Home Depot was the least expensive place to order this part and there was quick free shipping to the store.
It's fine.
It's a plastic button. Hard to believe that American Standard thinks this is a quality product. It was the actual thing I needed.

Confusion
I have tried but am unable to find a replacement handle for my older model American Standard Shower Set. Faucet direct tried but could not find the handle but sent me only the decorative index button. I am still struggling without a good solution.

A diamond in the ruff..... This is a one of a kind faucet screw cover ......gleaming, brilliant chrome with o ring to make a perfect watertight seal...can't say enough about my new $4 Screw cover....I think I'm done here.
