Really nice handles

We have solid cherry kitchen cabinets that looked somewhat the worse for wear after 25 years. The initial handles were rather corroded and some were really worn (3 kids). We didn't really want to replace them, and could find no one to discuss refinishing. Anyway, we decided to try replacing the handles with nicer ones and restoring the wood a bit. This all really worked well. We went with better made handles, and bought a single one to be sure it would cover previous handle damage adequately. We think the nicer looking handles really brought out the cherry nicely and vastly improved the cabinets. Only thing I would warn about is the length of screws which accompany hardware. Two types are available. One with 2 saw points, one with only one, to adjust length by sawing off bit that's too long. We needed shorter length for doors. However, we had more doors than screws with 2 adjustment points. We had to re-use original screws for the drawers for required length. Our woodwork must be thick. Overall, we were very pleased with our purchases. Though on the pricey side, handles do look good.
