I bought this for an inside lock on external doors to prevent going outside unaccompanied/wandering for someone with dementia. Fantastic! if at disease stage where not able to manage something new and it's not easy to reach/see.

Good Lock

We needed something to secure the door so the grand kids couldn’t get out to the pool without an adult. This works perfectly.

Easiest solution for parents to have privacy. Took less that 60 seconds and three screws to install.done

Perfect fit and very secure

We got this for an interior door to a separate living space that was misaligned so the lock wouldn't engage, and it has given us a lot of peace of mind. Not only was installation very easy, but it's unobtrusive and simple to use while feeling VERY secure (when you try and push against the door now it feels like there's a large object on the other side rather than this relatively small, though strong, lock). Highly recommend, I haven't seen anything else like it and we will likely buy more for other trouble doors.

I can unlock your door with a milk jug

From outside, you can shame me to the lock and prop pressure toward by sticking the milk jug, cut the milk jug and shim it up and push it in. It will pop open. It’s not safe you can literally open it from the outside of your house with a milk jug.

Ive had this for a while but I had to wait until the lock was delivered, then get it installed. I live in an apartment and I don't want people (apartment maintenance staff) walking in unannounced. If im here I can open the door ... I dont want them walking in.

Excellent purchase price and easy installation. The lock is super secure and prevents the door from opening even when the main deadbolt is unlocked.
