Beautiful Bookcase

The bookcases have lots of open and hidden storage. The raven oak finish is dark but the shelves are a lighter color that add charm! The shelves are adjustable-this was the reason I bought them.

The bookcase is so stylish!

Bought a pair of these for my family room and they look a bit farmhouse. They were shipped so quickly. They were very easy to put together and are very sturdy.

Completes the room

I purchased two of the Library with Doors to use on each side of the Cottage Road Collection Credenza. Completes the look of the room! Easy to build with easy to follow instructions and especially nice that all the hardware is sorted and labeled. So much storage space!

Beautiful Library

This secretary completes my home office. I already have the desk and bookcase. Gives me so much storage and space for decorating. Love it!

Products that I would definitely recommend!

The entire Granite Trace collection is absolutely beautiful! And very sturdy. My only complaint is the backing on the library shelf. It's a flimsy piece of particle board instead of a solid piece like the rest of the shelf. I have 6 pieces of furniture from Sauder and I am very pleased with all of them.

We would purchase again.

Easy Assembly. Fits in smaller areas nicely. Great storage. Our only question? Why is this unit not offered in a wood tone finish. Very happy the unit is packed well as the delivery person must have set it down and crushed one corner, which would not have happened if delivered to the correct address. We would have helped to unload the package. No damage to parts inside.

Love this bookshelf! I bought two to have a built in look. I wish they were taller, however!

Disapppointing Given The Price

Purchased this Library to go in a space in our living room area. It fits perfectly, however very disappointed that the doors do not align and there are huge gaps on the side of the doors despite my husband's best efforts to do everything to adjust the screws and align them. Also unfortunate that the side screws in the shelving area are very noticeable given that there is nothing to cover them with.

This is a stunning Bookcase!

The finish on this is both durable and beautiful. We are using this Bookcase in an office, but it would fit nicely in a Dining / Living area.

I would buy again

The shallow depth worked great in our narrow dining room. We bought two and put them side by side. Happy enough that we are ordering a third one.

Great bookcase - just as promised!

The color of ""soft white"" and the wood tone are exactly as pictured. Soft White is clean and fairly bright (but not arctic) and does not contain any yellow or other off-color. Product arrived in original box with extra reinforcement at corners and along edges, and every part was in excellent condition. The assembly components created a very sturdy cabinet, unlike other furniture I've assembled. Hardware is nice quality, finished shelf edges are nicely designed, everything was plumb and went together like it was supposed to. Instructions were good but could use a little more explanation in parts. About 2 hours for assembly. This Sauder cabinet is SO worth the money.

I will definitely shop there products again!!!

We are using this product for a childs room, books on the bottom in the cabinet, toys Ect on the selves above. HEAVY BOX!! Packed very very well!!!!!It took a while to build, a few hours but assembly wasnt bad even some one liners in the instructions to help keep you smiling. There were a couple questionable steps but if you stopped to think about it they made sense. Im impressed with the quality of a boxed product probably one of the best Ive ever seen. Definitely because it was built here in the US. . Everything lined up really nicely except one joint that could have been me though during assembly. Perfect size for a small bedroom. We have the area behind the door used for storage of kitchen dishes and utensils an the open shelves are used to store cook books and music books. As well as appreciating the clear directions with great diagrams, we appreciated the humorous comments included along the way.

Sturdy bookcase, looks high quality

I've had two of these bookcases for a year now and really enjoy them. From afar they look really high quality and not like the particleboard they actually are. The texture of the wood looks real and provides a nice finish. One of these pieces did arrive broken, but I emailed Sauder and they sent me a replacement part right away. Planning to buy more of this collection to complete my room's look.

Damaged Components and Doors Misaligned on Library

When I got this bookshelf in the mail and removed it from the box, one of the front dress pieces that lines a shelf was cracked about 30% down the length. Also, the doors do not align at all, leaving about a 1/4 gap between the tops of the doors. I've made every adjustment possible but I think the doors themselves are simply misaligned. I had a similar issue with a wardrobe coming with damaged parts, but the doors on that one were able to be aligned well enough. We'll see if they honor the replacement component order and if they can provide doors that can be hung correctly.

assembly book is ok ;can't follow exactly as you have to turn unit over at different stages ,makes assemly easier ,as far as i'm concerned . Took me well over 4hrs to get it done. some screws were missing . Door adjustment that on page 14 "" see the next step"" well it is NOT there. The video that's mentioned . . . well I can't find . All in all it's not as easy as they say. When finished it looks nice. I would like to adjust the doors ,to make them closer together ,gap seems to much.
