Photos indicate this bench has a nicely finished wood seat and lower shelf. When received, it actually had a rough, jagged unfinished surface on both the seat and bottom shelf. It appeared to have missed several steps on the assembly line. I really loved the look of this bench in photos and ordered it to match the wall hook assembly by the same manufacturer. It was a huge disappointment.
