Savoy Sputnik Light

This product stopped working all of a sudden! It was in my dining room and wasn’t used daily! I am very dissatisfied with this product and the company! I would not recommend this product to anyone!! The light was 3 weeks out of warranty and again wasn’t used on a daily basis!!!

I kept eying this chandelier and it turned out to be the perfect addition to my dining room! So happy with it! And the customer service was top notch! Beautiful, perfect amount of light!

Beautiful but not very sturdy

Everyone loves this light but I am afraid to touch it to even clean the bulbs. The down rod is very loose where it connects into the globe. I contacted the company to see if there was a replacement piece and I was ignored. I have purchased one other not inexpensive piece from 1 Stop but I hestitate to purchase the rest of my lighting from them due to their lack of customer service.

I was in two minds about this fixture as I didn't want anything gimmicky. It is a good quality light and cool design. A few things to consider. Firstly, it looks like chrome. All my other fixtures in the kitchen / living area are nickel so it doesn't match. I saw nickel and didn't consider it was polished - which is basically chrome so keep that in mind. Secondly, all the rods to hang it are the same large size. I had to hang it close to the ceiling because to use two rods meant it would hang way too low. When you consider most ceilings are 8' to 11' the manufacturers should include smaller rods to allow more flexibility with the height. Thirdly, it is more mid century modern than contemporary. If you are looking for a contemporary fixture, you might want to consider that. Lastly, regarding the bulbs, you can use G16 or G16.5 - they are pretty much the same size. I found a lot more options for G16.5 led bulbs. I would recommend getting LED because having 24 regular bulbs burning would generate a ton of heat. I bought the Phillips 25 watt equivalents and installed a dimmer otherwise the light would have been too bright. It is the perfect amount of light. Soft white is absolutely the way to go. It looks beautiful when it is turned on. Although it is taking me some time to get used to it, overall I am happy with how it looks. Less

It is very contemporary and gives off a lot of light.

Beautiful chandelier! This hangs in our stairwell and is a statement piece that illuminates the area. I purchased LED bulbs so it isn’t too hot with 24 lights. Highly recommend purchasing!
