I love this mailbox! I have had it in a box for a long time but we were finally able to install it. The cheap box it replaced was mounted too high for my comfort. I had to tippy toe to reach inside from the top and then fish around to make sure I got everything out. This box lets me know if I need to open it, since I can see in the little window at the bottom if there's something inside. The key works easily and the entire front panel pulls out toward me from the top to present my mail. With the number of people in the city reporting their mail stolen, a locking mailbox is essential. The glossy black finish is simply handsome.

I bought this mailbox after a very careful search because it was "built to withstand abuse" according to the description. Description also claimed this: "With galvanized metal and a powder finish to ensure longevity, simply install your mailbox and worry no more." After just two months on the wall, the metal handle is all rusted. Needless to say, all of this wasn't built for longevity. You would think that something like the handle would have been factored into the guarantee. I am not happy. It didn't take long to ruin the look at out front door.
