Easy to install, an ideal alternative to the old bronze one.

POOR DESIGN
This flush valve system needs to be dicontinued for lack of acceptable performance.
Toilet valve
It leaks. The flapper does not keep a tight lid.
Needs modifcaton
Does not automatically return to closed position without end-user modification
Awesome, Quality and Reliability...
Everything you need to get the job done right the first time .
a good replacement for the factory flush valve
this fits great and works great
Good Part, good value.
The unit worked perfectly, like the original oem part.
After some minor modifications, it worked fine. It is the only replacement part that I have been able to find for the old low boy toilets.
A great flushing review.
All worked well, The product is as stated of good quality.
Poorly manufactured.
Rubber molded black flapper valve has irregular sealing surface preventing a complete watertight seal against the seat. Very poor quality. Could not use.
No good!
There is too much friction so it doesn't close unless there is added weight, which requires one to hold the handle until the flush is complete. I had to order a new flush valve from American Standard.
Looks like a mfg problem
When assembled it does not close completely...could not take a chance and find a problem and need to reinstall the old one... so will look for another better quality produce...
Ill-fitting
I had the same experience as someone else who reviewed this. The gasket that secures to the tank is rock hard, and ill-fitting, probably because it is ancient. It has no flexibility. As a result, I had to use the old gasket. I went to Ace Hardware to try to find a better gasket, but theirs were hard and ancient, too. I guess this is a VERY OLD toilet model. I also had to use a little vaseline to make the flapper water tight. All in all, it is workable, but very troublesome.
Almost good
First, all of the parts pictured were not included. The retaining tabs and screws had to be retrieved from the old valve. Second: the rubber gasket was not as wide as the original and leaked slightly. Ended up using the old one. Third, the flap valve itself did not completely seal the water tank.
Not an OEM part - did not seal properly
I ordered this American Standard Replacement 047107-0070A Flush Valve Assembly to replace the one in my dad's toilet, which was slowly leaking. The price was much better than any other I could find and it appeared to be an OEM part. I should have read the description more thoroughly since the specifications further down indicate that it's made by WholesalePlumbing and not American Standard. It installed like the original and looked good, but then we realized the toilet was still slowly losing water from the tank. After a bit of troubleshooting, it appeared the water was leaking past the flapper/seat disc on the newly installed assembly. I ended up ordering a replacement American Standard 033643-0070A Seat Disc, which resolved the issue, but I probably could have saved myself a lot of time and effort by paying better attention to the description of this product in the first place and spending a little more on the original equipment part.
No leaks
I replaced the OEM one which lasted about 3 years .This one was an exact mach. I also liked that the rubber flapper came in a plastic case to keep it from warping in the heat of transport.
This is my first purchase from Zoro and I am impressed.
Product and packaging excellent.
Received item alright but no installation instructions. I'm trying to figure out the 3 triangular rubber plugs. Where do they go?
No instruction manual with it. No note to go online on internet link. Poor planning.
it's OK....
it is the part as described but ability to replace flapper parts not good. quality average
Zoro will be the first place i look for replacement parts
the flush valve was exactly what i was expecting. as good as the OEM part that was in the tank when i purchased the toilet 35 years ago.
