Perfect between vintage and modern!

This looks so stunning! We put it in our entry way. Installation was super easy. The height between the ceiling and bottom of the fixture is a perfect fit. This is a quality piece. When guest first walk in the house, you notice it.

Very pretty light

I used my light in an extra room that we just hang out in and I do my paintings in. The light gave so much more lighting in that room I can see to paint better also made it look a little more contemporary and beautiful. The square shade and brass fittings are beautiful. After I got it to the center of the room it was just perfect. Easy installation.

Beautiful light

This light is beautiful and is a major upgrade from the standard boob lights that were installed everywhere in my house. Installation was very easy, even for a novice like me. It emits a perfect amount of light for a bedroom and the frosted glass blocks enough of the light so that it doesn’t blind you. The only negative is that the shad cover is pretty fragile and mine came with a little crease in one corner that is impossible to repair.

Fabric-shade Light

I liked the 14" size of the light and the look of it. Unfortunately, I do not care for a fabric shade as dust has an inclination to stick to it, and because it is so high up, it is hard to maintain its cleanliness. I also do not like that there is no top enclosure because, again, dust and flies/bugs will fall into where the 3 bulbs are located.

Great hallway light

This Shailene 14 in. Square 3-Light Black Drum Hallway light is very pretty. It was a little harder to install than some of the other Kitchler products that I have. It took about an hour to install. The directions are very easy to follow. The shade on this is very pretty and I like that it drops down a bit from the ceiling. It really gave my upstairs hallway, a nice refreshed look.

Shailene 14 inch square 3 light

I recieved this shailene 14 inch square 3 light fixture to tey and review. This fixture is huge. Its pretty easy to install. It has glass on the bottom so it will shine bright. I put this in my kitchen abive my sink.

The light is slightly smaller then I expected, however, it’s a good look. Very clean and simple which is what I wanted.

This light fixture was perfect right out of the box. The installation instructions were easy to follow. It’s a perfect fit in the hallway of our home.This is the third fixture we purchased in Build.com and it’s been flawless.I highly recommend this site for ceiling fans and lights.

Bright light

Very cool light. The light comes out beautifully and blends in well with the ceiling. It kinda looks like a porch light to me but my fiance likes it!

We went with these fixtures to carry the square theme throughout the home. We are surprised how many people have taken notice of these fixtures. The square shape seems to be a hit. We also find that having the 3 lights that this fixture provides makes for a much more useful lighting experience—especially in a bedroom with no other lighting. If you are seeking an upgrade, or simply looking for a fresh, modern design influence in your home or project, these fixtures may be a good fit.

Nice Transitional Hall Light Fixture

We wanted a transitional fixture for our hallway that would work with period furniture in the Living Room. This fit the bill! The glass shade provide nice diffused light in a narrow hall that leads to bedrooms. However, it can ne seen from the LR, too. We have the round Shailene 18" semi-flush fixture in the LR and the two fixtures complement each other, without matching. If you have two people to help put up the glass shade, that is helpful, because it is hard to hold the glass and screw in at the same time. We used LED bulbs and are happy with the white light produced.

For entryway lighting in narrow hall. It was a little cumbersome for a one person installation when trying to keep the glass and shade in pace while screwing in the bottom, but overall a nice, clean well made light with ceramic sockets. The 3 bulbs emit a lot of light. You can change the bulbs easily by reaching over the top.The only downside is that it will have to be dismantled to clean the interior of the glass which is thin and fragile. Far more awkward than simply unscrewing a globe or dish.

Unique and High Quality

Great way to vary your ceiling lighting because of the square shape. Very nicely made with the Kirschler name imprinted on the bronze ceiling plate! I was replacing old ceiling lights on my upstairs loft area and bought two small circular round shade lights to go on either end of the hallway ceiling, and will be installing this square shade light in the actual seating area of the loft, therefore having a more interesting look in that area. Thrilled to be able to find this square shade shape on Overstock for a reasonable price!! I recommend highly.

Nice basic light for the money. Normal installation. Gives off good amount of light. Would recommend as a fixture for a less formal space.

The perfect hallway light

Easy to install gives, off great light and I love that the wattage isn't only 40 that you can put into it like so many of the others out there! The only down side is taking it down to clean it the plastic is brittle and I'm afraid I'll break it!
