I bought this mattress years ago for my bed and loved it. So when I upgraded to a larger bed, I figured why not get the same mattress? It's very firm but I put a down topper on it and it's so comfortable. It inflates quickly and there's a mild odor but it fades in about a day. I'm a big fan of Sleep Innovations. It's a good mattress at an affordable price.

This is our first mattress in a box and I have to say Im extremely pleased with the process. Shipping was extremely fast - the next day from when we ordered! The box is heavy so 2 people make it easier. It inflated or resumed its shape really quickly with NO issues at all. Within a few hours it was done and we slept on it that night. No bad smells or anything like that and this particular mattress is firm supportive but soft and cradles your body. I can turn over easily without sinking down too much.

This bed is so comfortable! I originally bought it for the guest room but when I took a nap on it I knew I had to update my mattress as well. When family comes to visit, they can’t stop talking about how comfortable the bed is. My mother in law immediately ordered the bed after her last visit. Highly recommend!

what a joke

Foam was all uneven, big dip/crease down the middle. Complete junk. conveniently the return date expired before the delivery date. Don't waste your money on any of their products. $500 for crap. Photos are 2 days after taking it out of the package just so you know.

The mattress cover was installed incorrectly, causing the mattress to be a little lopsided and the corners compressed. The mattress is serviceable but not as illustrated or advertised. Disappointing as we have had the same mattress from this manufacturer for the last 15 years and expected the same high-quality in the new mattress. Probably won't bother us when we are sleeping but disappointing just the same.

Very comfortable

I got this last week and I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this mattress. It comes in a very heavy large box so you might need two people to get it out. But once I got it out of the box and unwrapped it, it expanded very quickly. It is a very comfortable mattress but it's not so soft that you would have problems getting off of it. It is very firm. I love the quality of it. It's very comfy. I really like it. It is a great mattress.

Easy set up!

I typically have to set up furniture and such alone due to my partner's mobility issues, and this is the first mattress I've set up that didn't make me feel like I was in a losing wrestling match with a marshmallow. Took it out of the box, which could be moved with a Dolly if needed, unboxed it, opened the vacuum seal after setting it on the box springs, and removed the plastic. That easy, and while I'm still breaking it in 3 days later, it's the most comfortable new mattress I've slept on. No weird seams that require a thick pad to compensate for. I would definitely recommend this!

I absolutely love this mattress ❤️ it is soft without being too soft. My back is finally not hurting everyday and I fall asleep much quicker without putting pressure on my knees and hips. Great support and firmness for large person.

This mattress came in a rather large heavy box. Inside the box was a very tightly wrapped queen size mattress. Putting the wrapped item on the existing bed frame and CAREFULLY cutting the plastic revealed a perfectly fitting queen size mattress with an attractive covering. The directions gave us direction on how to do all this and then give the mattress time to rejuvenate. The mattress is intended for a 6'4" 325 pound man. Even after the first night he stated that it was great. Subsequent nights allowed the mattress to fully fill and provide the firm support that he was looking for. After a week he says this is the most comfortable and supportive bed he has ever had. It is a winner!

Best Night's Sleep You'll Ever Have

My brother purchased a Sleep Innovations bed and recommended it to me. I bought one for our master bedroom and it's given us years of comfortable sleep and continues to do so. My mom needed a new bed, so we recommended it to her. She bought one. Now I need one for our guest room. I've slept on it for three nights now...like a baby. This bed has consistent quality of product and support--firmness with "give" to cradle hips, back, or shoulders. I'm amazed at how the quality has not changed over the years or place of purchase. I appreciate that it's still made in the USA and has material certifications.

Great mattress!

Received my mattress on Friday afternoon. The packaging was pretty much what I expected. The box was a little cumbersome, but I managed to get it into my bedroom by rolling the box end-over-end.

This has got to be the best mattress I've ever slept on, hands down! It's been 6 months and it's still perfection! I studied mattresses online for years, always trying to get the right combo. When this one came up on sale, I decided to try it. SO glad I did! It has perfect support and plenty of soft give. For those who say it's hot, add a cooling pad cover- problem solved! (You should ALWAYS use a mattress pad on any foam mattress to preserve the foam as long as possible!) NO chemical smell out of the box. Was ready to sleep on within hours, but got way better over a few days! Best yet- no middle ridge is forming from 2 people creating holes on each side! Because no holes are forming! After 6 months, all the others I've tried will start to get that indentation. So pleased this one has not!

I was leery about a memory foam mattress, but needed a change. We opened our mattress and allowed it to expand for 8 hours. I slept like a baby from the first night. My husband did not. He is used to moving continuously throughout the night, so the fact that he was out of his norm, left him wide awake. The next night, he was so tired, he slept in the same position for 6 straight hours, felt great. I have felt more rested, refreshed, than ever before. This was an excellent buy! So great, that my daughter has now purchased the same bed!

Wanted to wait a few months before writing review. First I did my research before buying this mattress. My husband is a big guy. 6'5 350 lbs. My research was for a mattress that would be best for large/fluffy couple. We normally would spend in the hundreds of dollars for a mattress. Thinking that more money always equates to better product. Right? When I found this mattress I truly could not believe the price or that it would hold up for a month much less years. Standing up to two heavy adults sleeping on it. I was wrong! This mattress is one of those products that you just shake your head at and wonder HOW this could be so great for so little cost. Last mattress purchased by us cost 2300 dollars. So you can see why I was hesitant on this. Long/short BEST MATTRESS in thirty years. No transfer of weight. Hubby can turn over and I never know it. One can get up off this mattress and you never feel the movement. That alone is worth the price of admission. Buying one for a guest room/ buying one as a backup. No more back/hip pain in the morning. My husband had shoulder pain most everyday. No more. Seriously/ I would expect this mattress to sell in the thousands. Sorry for the long review/ but I felt there were people in our situation. Heavy adults tired of having a mattress not hold up to their size. Oh and you can sit on the edge without any problem. Purchase with confidence. Be proud of your bargain. WE are!!!

Excellent Choice!

This mattress is everything one would expect plus! This mattress was purchased to replace an "inflated" mattress I purchase 20 years ago and must admit I was somewhat reluctant, but after tolerating valve leaks, and broken tubes, decided it was time to change to something more reliable and did I luck out with this 12" MF mattress. There is not enough space here to begin to describe the comfort afforded through this mattress. It is like sleeping on a cloud. I have problems with my back and would wake several times during the night, not anymore! I continue to sleep through the night since purchasing and using this mattress. What a buy this was and thanks to Overstock. I have been happy with every item I have purchased at Overstock over the years and they will continue to be my favorite resource for whatever I may need. Thanks.

Best buy we have ever made

Bought this upon recommendation from a friend. Friend had bought a 6 inch, we decided to go 12. ABSOLUTELY AN AWESOME BUY! My husband and I are older (50, he's 60) and I am a big girl(6feet tall, 270 lbs) and we really shopped around before settling on this mattress. It arrived within 10 days, was easily installed by us and we were not impressed after the first night. But after 2 days, after the mattress had time to fully expand, oh my God is it awesome now! Part of the attraction, in addition to the low price, was the 20-year warranty. That was a big thing for us because we didn't want to wind up with something it was going to deteriorate quickly. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone with arthritis or work-related injuries such as back, neck or hip. Up until this point I had been sleeping on the couch for the last year-and-a-half because our old mattress was so hard it would put my arms to sleep and I would wake up aching. This mattress has literally saved our marriage as it has allowed us to sleep together again in Comfort. Absolutely marvelous. I highly recommend it and can't say enough good things.

Sleep innovations queen Shiloh 12 in memory foam

This mattress arrived in a heavy box wrapped well with plastic. We laid it on top of our guest bed carefully cut it open and let it rest for 3 days. It inflated to 10 inches almost immediately and eventually expanded to the full 12 inches. Slight smell but nothing horrible I left the window open and shut the bedroom door for a few hours just because of all the reviews. My teenage daughter has slept nicely for a couple weeks. It's firm but soft. We are very pleased with our purchase. The queen sheets I had are too tight. I recommend buying a deep pocket sheet set when you buy this mattress. i purchased the Beckham hotel collection premium mattress encasement which slid right on and washed up beautifully. On top of that I placed the Beckham hotel microfiber mattress pad which I will remove and wash with every other sheet change My daughters bed is soft and protected from stains bugs and spills. We placed the mattress on top of the Zinus contemporary metal and wood platform bed and it fits beautifully!!!

An Objective REVIEW

Rating a mattress is difficult, everyone has different wants, with that in mind I will state what I found. Mattress arrived timely, in good condition, well packaged, and did NOT posses any odor(s). As noted by others it is heavy, and seems to be well made. After letting it "decompress" for 48 hours we slept on it, first night was like sleeping on a marble slab with a Kleenex tissue on it, it is listed as medium, but it is DEFINITELY extra FIRM !!! After sleeping on it for two weeks we bought a 3" memory foam topper which almost makes it tolerable. If you want a very firm mattress, this is for you. If not, better look elsewhere, or prepare for pain!!!

As many others were I was hesitant to purchase a mattress online without the ability to return it if it wasn't what I wanted. I took the plunge and purchased it. It arrived as expected in a well protected box and heavy as all get out. Once opened there was absolutely no smell whatsoever. It expanded fully within a matter of hours, much less than expected after reading other reviews. The bed is firm which is exactly what we were looking for. Firmness with the comfort of memory form. We haven't been disappointed. It took a couple of nights to get used to it and we've been sleeping on it for about a week now. I turn over much less frequently than before and I'm much less achy in the morning. My husband is sleeping better too. Money well spent In my opinion. I wish I'd purchased it sooner. Update: So glad we purchased this bed. After about 2 months of use the quality of our sleep has really improved. No foam breakdown as of yet. It's firm but don't let that deceive you it's very comfortable. Wish we'd purchased this bed sooner.

Nightmare! No Returns! NOT for skinny people! ouch

I needed a new mattress bad, I went by all the misleading reviews on this one! The price is great! The shipping fast! It has no smell. It is nice say for a spare room your not gonna use. I am 5' 8" and 115 lbs but my husband is a bigger guy. I am up all night with everything hurting shoulders, back, neck, hips, knees, and I am a very active 41 yr. old Mom We don't have a lot of money so my decisions have to be final, and I can't complain that means I have to live with this brick! It's hot, it's hard I would rather sleep on our camper mattress!! It's junk! I know you get what you pay for!! Oh so true! I got rid of my double pillow top Englander mattress, which was one of the biggest mistakes of my life and now as I am sitting up at nite, in tears I realize that. If you are a boney person or have sore joints or sleep hot, save your money a bit longer! STAY AWAY! I will be dying soon from all the Ibuprofen I now consume.
