This is the same ice cream scoop you see in actual ice cream shops. It might be overkill for home use, but it's something you can buy once and probably pass it on to your kids later. Very solid and just does the job.

My husband is particular about his ice cream scoops.

He owned one that had come from his late Grandma's hand-dipped ice cream shop, one that unfortunately had to be tossed after it ended up in the dishwasher. Over the years he's used various other scoops (Oxo, KitchenAid, etc.) and complained about all of them. I came across this one that looked a lot like his favorite family heirloom; the original didn't have a brand name on the handle, but it did sport this design along with the colorful handle end. He LOVES it. It is apparently everything one could ask for in a scoop, and at a reasonable price.

So good definitely recommend!

This is a great scoop. Just wish I had bought the 2oz. size. I do love it though!

Great product, really cuts through the ice cream with ease if you hold it for about 30s first. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was that it came with a small scuff on the side.. Something I should have contacted the seller about but I wasnt able to open it until several weeks after delivery as I was away.

Very good scoop however the edge is sharp and cuts the plactic tub when scooping. Just a little but of sanding and the edge is nice and smooth.

Exactly as described. Great quality visually. The liquid inside the handle helps scoop the ice cream w/o dipping in water as stated. Might try one of the coated ones. Probably get several for Christmas for the kids. Vintage cool!

If you have struggled for that long as me with all other types of icecream scoops you need to buy this one. Absolutely easy to form the perfect icecream ball, easy to drop it in the bow no need to push or touch it at all. I will never change this scoop, thats what I was looking for. Thanks seller for making my life easier.

Bought for my father as a birthday gift. Supposedly the best scoop in the world, this scoop was a bit on the large side for me definitely bigger than a normal domestic ice cream scoop. It is miles better than the previous scoop a Xyliss, and looks like it will last a long time. I will get one for my house, but probably a size 16.

We bought the blue bottomed one and it’s a little larger than the old scoop we were replacing. The “tip” of it is certainly sharp, I actually cut myself on it while hand washing. I didn’t expect to have to be careful while washing an ice cream scoop, but I have been since! So obviously it cuts through the ice cream well! We have been using it for a month or two now. We have not put it in the dishwasher and don’t plan to. We expect it to last for many years.

After years of buying countless ice cream scoops I have finally found the best and this is it. They balls it produces are perfect every time and they are perfect size too. Do not run them through the dishwasher or you'll take the finish off. I will buy again if needed.

This is very sturdy and easily scoops ice cream without hurting your hands. It scoops in scoops, not in pieces. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great ice cream scooper.

These will last a life time. We are still using some that are 15+ years old that have gone through hundreds of thousands of scoops of ice cream and thousands of washes. The size of the handle is just right for all hand sizes. If you need a scoop for an ice cream shop then this is it. Don't go cheap.
