We closed in our gazebo with tarps, along with this heater, we are so pleased. This is great. Loving the two heat settings.

Bought this item in September 2022, really enjoyed having it in the gazebo , especially on the real chilly nights but had to return it in September 2023 due to it not working when you want it to. The lower ring wouldn't turn on and when it did the electrical was buzzing and snapping. I was afraid it was going to cause a fire.

It's looking beautiful with the black gazebo. Has enough heat to make the people comfortable. Haven't tried in the winters though.

The 3 settings are very nice and on max the heat is enough even below zero. The light on it is far from enough but at least stops you from stumbling around . The one massive issue with this is the remote.... unless you are 6 feet away it doesn't work so no turning it on before your actual stand close enough to just push the button on the light .

Fire hazard

Worked great for 6 months then just stopped working. No hassle replacement given. Used 2nd one 4 times and it burst into flames. Money refunded without hassle. Now searching for another ootion.

I don’t like to give bad reviews but this one is necessary. I guess you can say it does what it advertises and I should’ve known that 1500 watts was not going to do much. You’ll get more warmth from a hairdryer hanging from your ceiling. To be fair, I had it hanging from the rafters of my pavilion with only partial walls and the temps were well below freezing (no wind). But even standing directly under it, you could barely tell it was on at all…BARELY. It might work in a glass enclosed porch from North Carolina on south but anything else, you’re gonna have to purchase more powerful heaters and burn more electricity or propane. I feel like the promotional information should explain it’s limitations but I guess that would fly in the face of marketing. I returned it.

Great heater

I really like this heater, not quite enough heat for 10x12 gazebo but i lowered it and was ok. Really the only thing that i dont like is the light feature, doesnt light up any area really. I also really like the remote control, great function.

Ugly

Quite ugly, mainly due to the very thick black power cord. Heat was modest, so we purchased a tower type heater instead. The return process sucked as CT did not want to accept the return as the product was opened! (How else could we determine that it was ugly?)

Remote malfunction and customer service not help m

Bought this heater last fall and it looks good however the remote started not working after a few months. Now I tried to use it this spring and contacted with the customer service. According to customer service personnel, I am responsible for the shipping the unit back to Quebec for repair. Just a remote malfunction and not want to bother shipping repairing around. Wish the heating unit last a bit longer thought, i actually stored it inside during winter. Not happy with the quality of this product and customer service. Why not just keep it simple to replace the remote control?

Works fine for a bit of warmth on cool evenings

Easy to set up. Only problem was that the remote is sensitive to use; even with new batteries, the connections inside the remote don't always work. But buttons on the unit itself are easy to use if they aren't too high to reach them. We only use the unit to provide a little heat on a cool evening, and for that it is fine. Worth the relatively modest cost and look good.

patio heater

Ideal electric patio heater with lite for our gazebo. Dont have to fuss with a propane tank, plus the electric heater hangs in the gazebo and radiates heat for some cool day/evenings. If you hang it high enough, then the heat radiates to cover our rectangle table of 6-8 people.

It is really nice looking. Having a remote control is such a great feature. The heat seems to go out 10 feet from the heat source rather than downward. If it had a longer chain, it would put the heat source closer to the people. I am now considering getting a standup outdoor heater.

Meh. I was hoping this would be my solution to social distancing in the time of Covid since my covered patio is not tall enough to allow a propane heater. I do not need to feel like I am indoors, but all this does is take the edge off the cold. I am sure in the spring and fall it will extend the time it is comfortable to sit outside, so I am not returning it, but I just have to say I am not blown away with this purchase.

Hang it low.

Need to hang low to feel the heat in winter. Good thing is that if you accidentally bump into the heater while it is on it immediately shuts off. Good for protected seating area for two in winter with blankets and hot water bottles. Using as supplemental short term outdoor seating.

warm and cozy

Didn't have high hopes for this, but it puts out a surprising amount of heat. We have it hanging from the ceiling of our covered porch, and it's helping to extend the season. We chose this over a gas patio heater because didn't want to be bothered with the tank, and didn't want to have to put it together. No assembly required with this. Nice warm glow from the elements, and it has an LED light, as well. Nicer with just the glow from the elements though. We needed an appropriate outdoor extension cord to plug it into a nearby outdoor outlet - and we used cable clips to secure the cord along the ceiling and down the wall. The remote is a great feature.

This hanging patio heater was purchased on the Open Box sale. Very impressed with the packaging and the fact that all components were in their original wrapping.
